🚨 If you’re doing hours of cardio trying to lose belly fat, you’re probably doing WAY more than you need to.
More cardio doesn’t automatically mean more fat loss.
The key is knowing how to use cardio correctly.
In this video, I’m breaking down one of my favorite ways to use cardio for fat loss: the bike.
This workout is designed to help you burn calories, improve your conditioning, and create the kind of training intensity that supports fat loss without spending endless hours on a treadmill.
🚴 I’m going to show you exactly how I approach a bike workout when the goal is getting leaner — and why the way you perform your cardio matters just as much as how long you do it.
In this video, you’ll learn:
• How I use the bike for fat-loss cardio
• Why more cardio isn’t always better
• How to structure your cardio for maximum efficiency
• The difference between simply burning calories and improving your conditioning
• Why intensity matters when you’re short on time
• How to incorporate cardio without sacrificing muscle
• The biggest mistakes people make when trying to cardio their way to a leaner stomach
• How I balance strength training, nutrition, and conditioning to stay lean
🔥 Here’s the truth about belly fat:
You can’t choose exactly where your body burns fat first.
But you CAN create the conditions that help reduce your overall body fat — and cardio can be an incredibly effective tool when you use it correctly.
That’s what this workout is about.
No mindless hours on the treadmill.
No complicated equipment.
No gimmicks.
Just smart, efficient work.
⚠️ Don’t just watch this workout — grab a bike and follow along with me.
See if you can keep up until the end.
👇 When you’re finished, drop a DONE in the comments and let me know how far you made it.

I recommend 3 changes. First, do 30/15. Second, do 18 straight. Third, do it w/ a full body exercise like Versaclimber, AirDyne, or rower.
Bring that seat up
Nice & Hard, thank U👌
I’d say I’d be in the top 10% fitness for my age at 50. Used a Concept 2 bike Erg on setting 5, and best rpm’s I was hitting was 85-90 in the 30 on section, in the 60’s in the cruise section 😅
There is no such thing as a belly fat workout lol, that’s not how the body works. Norwegian 4x4s/HIIT is great for cardiovascular fitness, but fat loss is simply burning more calories than you consume. It’s easier to do longer easier zone 1-2 workouts for longer. You’ll burn way more calories and won’t burn out and can be done way more often.
And if you want a great HIIT workout hop on a Rowerg.
I can’t believe this book is still so underrated. You Are Stronger Than You Think from Cryptic Lore is the only book I’ve found that explains how to naturally boost testosterone
Rowing across the sea from Bergen to Lerwick is a much more intense cardiovascular workout than anything Minimus has ever done.
Definitely agree with the screen for visual feedback and instant intensity/pace adjustment. I start at 4.4 mph pace and increase the resistance/speed 10% every 3 minutes until I max at 7.5 mph and reset back to 4.4 and repeat. I usually burn out around the 55-58 minute mark having burned 600+ calories with 5.2 to 5.4 miles traveled depending on intensity. This works on the treadmill and elliptical as well.

Loved this cycling fat loss video on Bobby Maximus! Quick heads-up—your video SEO score is at 32.7/100, which limits search reach for belly fat queries. Sent you a quick note with details. Keep up the awesome work!
Norwegian 4×4 seems superior. But this is great too.
Enhanced tabata
U can’t spot remove fat, that’s not how energy consumption works 😅
Was going to do an outdoor bike ride today but it is raining. You just gave me my gym alternative.
I like this indoor bike too, will look at it.
Thanks
6 x 30-30 intervals for 3 blocks is savage interval workout. My go to intervals workouts is this one or one of bobby's other interval workout – 15 rounds for 30 secs work with 90 sec rest.
I like to use the treadmill or rower for these interval workouts
