On July 1st, 2019 I had gastric bypass surgery in Mexico. My insurance would not cover the surgery because they considered it to be elective. The cost in the United States to have weightloss surgery is outrageously expensive, and you have to go through, sometimes, years of waiting. 7 days later I had to have emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction. This road has been long and at times, the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. I truly feel that have WLS saved my life. This is only my experience. I did my surgery in Russia, St. Petersburg, the surgery cost $2 500,plus all the blood work and specialist was about $600. I spent 5 days in the aftercare.
You look fantastic and younger. I'm a little older than you and have always looked younger but am afraid to look older if I go through wls. Do you know if one form of wls allows you to lose weight at a slower pace or are they all the same?

I am several years older than you. I have been on a diet for a year. Losing 1-2 pounds a week. Not on any plan just eating less and looking for sugar free foods. I've always had a lower belly pooch even when I weighed much less. Do you have any recommendations for any cream that that firms and tightens that area? You have never steered me wrong. I am debating on weather I have surgery or not . I here good things. But there is also those people that say …. Oh nooo you are going to look old and the skin hangs bad and I am so scared of doing it and later getting depressed about all that , also the not being able to eat more then a couple bites just gets to me 😩
Both of my children are type 1 also. It’s so hard and stressful always wondering if they are ok

I just found your weight loss videos. Thank you SO much for making them! I've always been chubby (fat) since I was 6 months old. My mother overfed me to cope with her feelings. When I was 13 and 250 pounds, my pediatrician put me on Preludin (medical speed) and in 6 months I was 110 pounds and a size 6. I've gone back and forth for almost 50 years. I can't turn to lots of exercise anymore (fibromyalgia, arthritis, back and knee surgery) and didn't know anyone that had done gastric surgery. Thank you for your honesty and love for your fellow women who need to hear from someone who has done it. I have much to think on. Thank you!😽
