Such good advice!! My trigger habit time is at night before bed :/
So good! Thank you for the motivation!
Talk about high cortisol from not sleeping, nursing every 1.5 hours through the night
Honestly as a breastfeeding mom I realized a lot of my “overeating” wasn’t me lacking control — it was being STARVING or dehydrated or exhausted. Breastfeeding hunger hits fast. What’s helped me is eating more regularly (every few hours), making sure I get protein each time, and drinking water first because I’m often just super thirsty. I also try not to skip meals because that always makes me eat way more later. Still figuring it out, but being gentler with myself has helped a lot.
I aslo think its amazing you are faith filled and a veteran. I also am a veteran, but first and foremost seek God's council— so your tip of just being a hardworking woman really lit a fire in my soul. GOD BLESS YOU.
Amen! 🙌
I have to remind myself to stop and spend the time to make myself a healthy, nourishing, large meal. When I don’t I end up snacking the day away, don’t feel nourished, constantly in the kitchen trying to satisfy myself.
When you started talking about Faith that’s when I hit the subscribe button ❤✝️🥰
I really love that i came across this channel
I love being a mum. I wanna be a stay at home mum, and work from home. So i am building a business online to afford me this, on Counseling and Personal Development coaching. Thank you so much ❤❤❤
I pay attention to how I feel after eating sweet stuff, and I realize it makes my stomach hurt. Or makes me feel overly full. I don’t l overlook that, and it helps me want it less next time!
Thank you for everything! You’re such a blessing.
Watching this as I eat a big mug of ice cream before bed oops… umm maybe I’ll put this back in the freezer.😅😅😂
I love this video. Very helpful ❤
Yes! The more protein and fat you eat the safer your body will feel, so it will naturally regulate your hormones and reset your body to it's best weight and health. And I love that someone else is also saying that it is ok to be hungry. Once you can listen to your body you can tell the difference from normal hunger (your body just digesting) and your blood sugar dropping.
I have a question as a new mom myself I definitely came from a really unhealthy eating background growing up and because of this I became a really picky eater and allot of the things in this video do not look appetizing now as an adult I can easily tell myself to suck it up eat the food because it's good for you but this makes eating an uncomfortable experience and I was curious if there's more or different types of meals that would be helpful for picky eaters like me to actually enjoy eating the meal kind of something to look forward to!?
I can’t sleeeep on an empty stomach- I just keep waking up with shakes if I don’t eat protein before bed. What is wrong with me?
First, I definitely have ice cream at all the kids are in bed. It's not so much the snack train for me, as it is I just want to enjoy something to eat in peace and quiet. Secondly apples do not fill you up! They don't satisfy my children's hunger and they don't satisfy mine. They love apples but they just do not fill you up. Every time I've had an apple, I've enjoyed it but felt like I've eaten nothing
I’m 3 months pp and it’s so hard because if the hunger lol. I’ve started hating how I look. Thanks for making this video I’m going to start having to cut out snacking on junk foods.
note to breastfeeding self:
trigger time: all day every day, even when sleeping
I will definitely stop snaking at night as a new mom
I've been struggling with finding myself after having my two girls. I struggle with getting back in shape and taking care of myself mentally and physically. I think your channel is once o the things I needed. So many channels are SAHM's, and I wish I could be but cannot at this time do that. I appreciate how you include working outside of the home moms in your talking.
Is it too late to start this 8 months post partum? Sleep deprivation, depression and stress haven’t let me lose any weight 😔
I'm almost 6 weeks PP and still 22lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight. I am working from home and exclusively breastfeeding, but my weight isn't really going down. Am I too early PP to start loosing weight? I walk 2 to 3 miles a day and will start light weights soon.
