Did you know your body burns fat most efficiently in the first few hours after you wake up? But most people accidentally shut that system off with their very first bite of food!

So in this video, I break down the 10 best breakfast foods that can train your body to burn belly fat instead of store it. We’re talking about how your liver controls fat burning, how protein and specific amino acids protect muscle and boost metabolism, how gut bacteria influence GLP-1 and appetite hormones, and why certain fats and fibers improve insulin sensitivity instead of spiking blood sugar.

I’ll explain what these foods actually do inside your body — from activating fat-burning pathways and supporting brown fat, to stabilizing hunger hormones and reducing mid-morning cravings. You’ll also learn how preparation matters, and why pairing foods correctly makes the difference between steady fat loss and stalled progress.

If you’re trying to lose stubborn belly fat, improve blood sugar control, support your metabolism over 50, or stop feeling hungry two hours after breakfast, this will completely change how you look at your first meal of the day.

  1. Ok so in this video he says 2-3 eggs and cooked hard yolk and in a previous video about 5 rules in how to cook eggs he says 3-4 eggs but soft yokes. Don’t overcook them. So why the difference between videos?

  2. A little pure raw honey is lower glycemic than sugar. Plus it has enzymes for health and allergy fighting properties unless heated.
Pure maple syrup, not the garbage from the store, is quite low in glycemic levels. A LITTLE of either of these on your healthy oats is delicious.

  3. I am gluten intolerant. What about gluten free bread or rice. I tend to add rice or GF bread to my eggs every morning. I also tend to eat a couple pieces of uncured smoked bacon. this tends to keep me satiated until dinner. Good, bad or OK?

  4. I can't do citrus at all.( Well, a lemon but it's weird that's the only citrus that I can tolerate.)
Pears have 6 grams of fiber. I'm trying to eat that regularly. Love pears!

  5. I did not understand. For overnight oats, do you mix in HOT water? Then just let it set on the counter before putting them in refrigerator over night?

  6. Get a lecithin supplement to boost the choline. Lecithin contains choline. It is a major source of phosphatidylcholine, a compound that your body breaks down to release choline, an important nutrient that helps support your brain, cells, and liver. I used to remember it this way: lecithin make you lessafat.
