  1. I recently found you Annette through an interview you did with Felicia from Grains and Grit and I subscribed to your channel. It's only been a little over a week and I am so thankful for you and I love how you always refer to God's Word..I thank you for the Free Download. You are helping me so much as well as so many others out there..God bless you dear..Sherri-Idaho

  2. I love the salad Annette one thing I wanted to share is I’ve discovered this year that I absolutely love canned sardines in olive oil, and I’m curious what your thoughts are on this Annette but I’ve been taking a massive salad and just cracking up in a jar or a can of the sardines in olive oil and then the olive oil basically becomes my dressing and it is so simple and delicious!!

  3. I noticed that grains are a very small part of your lunches. It really is about vegetables and meat, with a bit of fruit, nuts, legumes and dairy thrown in. I like a little grains type foods here and there and Ezekiel bread but it really should be a very small part of our diet.

  4. So many anti-nufrients, especially the spinach a, beets & beet greenschia seeds are loaded with oxalates which has tons of oxalates.!
Tough to digest so many high fod-maps and all that raw fiber is way too tough to digest !

  5. Excellent video!
It helps to surrender the control of our food and nutrition intake to God and His perfect design for our bodies. You are a wonderful pioneer of biblical nutrition!
In modern American society we have been trained to eat certain foods at certain times of day, like eggs and pancakes are associated with breakfast at 8 am, sandwiches for lunch at noon, and meat and potatoes for dinner at 6. This schedule was largely based on the farmer’s schedule and industrial factory workers (who all need more calories and set times to eat), or children in school all day that live by the sound of a bell. I see food intake so differently now. No more eating just to eat because the clock tells us. No more restricting certain foods to certain times of day, or mindlessly including unhealthy foods because that’s what we grew up on. For us in our family, we see lunchtime as more of a grazing/snack time if we need it. It can be a salad, but I tend to make it very simple and easy and put out a “spread” of vegetables, fruits, cheeses, nuts, maybe a whole grain if we need the extra energy boost. We focus on cooked, nutrient dense breakfasts that include eggs for the protein we need, and we eat dinner around 4:30 pm that is meat and vegetable centric with fresh milled bread. We don’t need the extra heavy calories in the middle of the day unless we are working hard on our homestead or very active that day. Food is fuel and source of nutrients to keep us healthy!

  6. HI Annette, I was wondering about hemp seeds. I have a pacemaker now because i have low heart beat ( Sick Sinus Syndrome). I was always told that hemp was close to the weed, so is it really and could i use hemp in my salads?

  7. I listened to a doctor that followed patients and those that gained a few pounds ended up fairing better than those who stayed thin. Something about having something to fight with were one to get God forbid- cancer or something

  8. Someone asked about whole grains in the comments. Quinoa, buckwheat, & amaranth are complete proteins. The other whole grains can be paired with legumes or nuts to become a complete protein such as beans and rice. Tofu is a complete protein by itself.

  9. That all looks very healthy and delicious. My only change would be to eliminate your protein category. There is plenty of protein in your nuts, seeds, & legumes category. So you only need 4 categories. I do not believe we are going to be killing animals for food in Heaven. There is no death there. Meat was only given after the flood. So as we prepare for Heaven we should be learning to eat without animal food. The main calories would be in the type of dressing you use. Oil free dressings keep the calories down and add taste.

  10. Annete, Im 59 and have always had excellent health. This past year, though, ive experienced some things that have me looking into possible autoimmune issues specifically Lupus. Autoimmune tends to run iny family. I've been cooking more clean and with whole foods for a long time now, but I do love my pasta, and I do love unfrosted strawberry pop-tarts. So I try not to buy them. Anyway, I've been looking into diet changes and considering keto. I know a lot of people who eat keto or at least high protein low carb, and they all tell the the way they feel overall and the lack of health issues that they've had in the past. But I see this video and I see it's a little bit more me-friendly. I love your content in all of the foods that you're talking about. I'm praying for guidance for which way to go for my health.

  11. My husband has been dealing with esophagus Sphincter. dysfunctional….. He has difficulty eating and everything comes up his esophagus every single day. We are believing God for healing, but it hasn't manifested yet. Is there any tips you can give????

  12. Can I ask a question…?? It is so confusing hearing all
Of the versions there are now days for what is the best choice of eating. Carnivore, keto, plant based, vegetarian, biblio, etc…. Plants carry this or that type of harmful thing if you eat them, meat is the only good thing to eat along with high fats, healing leaves tea and the biblio diet is Christian and Bible based, fruit is sugar don’t eat it, all carbs turn in to sugar don’t eat them, honey is sugar don’t eat it…. And on and on.
I don’t know what exactly to try to feel
Better and eat things God created that heals our body. There are people presenting each version as the right one. I’ve tried all of them with no real helpful results over the last many years.
What is your opinion on these and how do we find the one that really works for us individually? If you go to the Dr they have another version. It’s confusing and discouraging and it would be helpful to know what really is the best way to eat and knowing what God wants us to do for our own health journey.
Thank you for this video though.. it is very interesting and informative.
