🩵 Exactly what I did to finally lose fat and tone up: .I get a lot of questions about it, so I created it for you! 🫶🏻
I struggled to lose fat and tone up for 12 years, despite following all the “healthy” habits that were supposed to get me fit. In this video, I’m sharing the 5 healthy habits that kept me stuck with fat loss, no matter how hard I tried. In addition, I dive into what actually worked to finally lose fat, tone up, heal my body, and create lasting change. These habits may surprise you, and you might even be following them right now!
I spent 12 years trying to figure out how to lose fat and tone up to get the body I always dreamt of. I did everything right; I followed all the fitness advice on fat loss and toning up but I wasn’t seeing results. I ate clean, exercised, did HIIT, went to the gym, tracked my macros, cut calories, and made sure I burned calories but my body composition was getting just worse. Eventually, so did my health too. However, I kept following the healthy habits I was told to do. I put even more effort in the hope to lose fat and tone up but still no results. Instead of fit I looked skinny fat. I couldn’t understand why? No matter what I did, I couldn’t lose fat. I started to lose hope and thought that maybe my dream body just wasn’t in my genetics. But after 12 years of fat loss struggle I finally lost fat and toned up but not by following those healthy habits. I quit tracking macros, I quit cutting calories, I quit going to the gym, I quit cardio and HIIT, I quit limiting foods, and suddenly I was in my dream shape. The healthy habits I followed ruined my body and health. Turns out I overtrained, underate, wrecked my nervous system, and got my body into fight-or-flight mode. Instead of fat loss, I started to focus on my health to actually become healthy. I started eating intuitively instead of tracking macros, instead of counting calories I started to eat whatever I wanted and still remained fit, instead of high-intensity workouts I started doing low-intensity, and this is when my body changed. I finally got my dream body.
In this video, you’ll discover the common 5 healthy habits that sabotaged my fat loss progress and might be sabotaging yours too, how I finally lost fat and toned up after 12 years of struggle and how you could too, and the real truth about fat loss that the fitness industry won’t tell you. I wish I would’ve known these “fat loss secrets” sooner and not after 12 years so if you’re tired of feeling frustrated with your weight loss journey, this video is for you.

I wanted to ask about the tracker I only track to meet the you know protein requirements how would I know if im eating the protein my body needs to lose weight?
overtraining = hard to lose fat
less high intensity < more low intensity
ex. shorter running sessions < longer walking sessions
don't lift weights because you don't want muscles
pilates/yoga + light weights/body weights = progress
replace tracking macros to intuitive eating, if you eat whatever you want, you have less cravings than when you are constantly limiting yourself with macros. eating chocolate, ice cream or cake every once in a while won't hurt you.
when you stop dieting or limiting certain food groups without any reasons such as allergies, it helps you because your body needs all types of nutrients.
if you keep cutting calories, push harder + eat less ≠ lose fat + tone up: why? because you aren't eating enough, so your body tends to store up the fat, instead do: move more + eat more – cutting calories = fit: this is because your body has a metabolic rate so that you burn calories daily just by simply existing. daily calories loss + extra workouts + bodily function is approximately how much you lose, and if you eat less, you tend to under eat and if you under eat for too long, your body goes into a fight or flight mode, and it starts to store everything you eat into fat for survival reasons. your body knows when it's full or when it's hungry, listen to your body. that way, you can never really overeat, and also avoid under eating. as long as you listen to your body signs, intuitive eating is absolutely not a problem.
OMG I can't understand all words that you say cuz my listening skill is not good also English as well.
this is what happened to me. at first, i started to do calorie deficit and did intense cardio workouts so i could get result faster. but nothing really changed so overtime i didn't track what i ate anymore, basically i js ate whatever i wanted while also doing pilates, and the fact that i actually loss my belly fat when i started to eat more and give myself rest days where i wouldn't exercise proves that this video is telling the truth
❤
Tysmm
How often do you do pilates workouts?
Thank God I neeed this video thank u for advices ❤❤
Hey if anybody wants to help me please advise I have the physique i just have fat in my belly and back fat due to my pcos. I don't want a model body but atleast to reverse it I want to get back to my initial weight with that if I get toned that's great but that's not a concern I just want my previous weight and physique back and I am an adult so I dont worry about diets and exercises hich sre not good for teenagers
thank you so much, this will be my ultimate guide for my losing fat journey!
More than any trick of losing weight, the most important thing to focus on is listening to your body. People's body's are built different so I really agree with you. Maybe this isn't my way too, we all have to find our way to lose weight by observing how our body act when we do something different. btw. I really like the reverse psychology you have said! It's really true
when i first started dieting and going to the gym it worked really well, lost like 5kgs in jst a few months, but honestly after a while the cravings hit hard and soon i stopped caring, now my body honestly just craves more than what i used to before going to the gym and starting the diet, im still stuck lol but ill try this to hopefully get better
What abt calisthenics? Is that body weight or something else? 😢
Omg this video is so freshing to watch thank you so much
I've seen bulky women tf are you talking about
Normalise making these videos shorter and getting to the point
My weight is not that much now, but as i am a short person, i didn't look that slim. But that's not the problem, the problem is just i want to lose fat a bit. I think it is possible if I in my calories deficit, eat enough protein, do body strength workout, and have consistency, but I am struggling with that, especially about calories deficit…and emotional over eating…give me some advice pls
But I want to get skinny and lose my weight number
But my gynaec has told me specifically to work out at the gym to cure PCOD… Can you suggest how I can get to looking like that even with weight lifting?
At that time I was on a diet and lost 9 kilos, but now it's gone up again, my period has disappeared and my hair is falling out, so I'm in a recovery period:( So what should I eat now? How can I get back to a healthy but ideal body? without damaged hormones like me
Gurllll😮
This is a very good content, I also did the same, and it works. People ask me how to maintain fit even in my 30s, they said its my genetic, but actually my family are far from fit, i might say they are not fat but chubby because we love food😅… what i did is just eat what i want, i never get to gym and do diet food….I workout by following youtube video for a week when i see my body shape change a bit. i only did light and easy workout, if its hard for me to follow, i will not repeat it,…i eat when I'm hungry once or twice a day, when I want some sweets, chocolate or cake, i just take it…but i control my sugar take in a day by drinking 2-3L of water… i cut maltodextrin in food..sleep 8hr every night…and fasting is also good maybe once or twince a week.
Thumbnail is misleading, the "fat" version is an AI lie. If you're trying to help people, please don't use AI to make before and after images. It doesn't help
As a broke college student who is constantly studying and doing different activities, thank you so much for this realistic video. It has helped me a lot.
I always find myself wondering whether I need to buy expensive healthy foods or how I can manage to go to the gym or workout outside every day while dealing with exams almost all the time. It gets so exhausting that eventually I just stop exercising.
But this video reminded me that getting healthy and losing fat doesn’t have to be complicated. You can start with whatever resources you have, take small steps, and be patient and consistent. Building a healthy relationship with food is also really important.
Thank you for the motivation and reminder that progress doesn’t have to be perfect. ❤️
Dropped some 3 kg for like 2 months when I stopped big weights training and started eating what I really want 😄 also walks, sometimes step and pilates.
@katarinathesecond, I'm following Lilly Sabri's pilates programs, I wanted to ask you for advice what videos did you refer to? 🙂
this is what happens when a girl with an IQ of 70 goes on to make a video about fitness. What a ride. Horrible.
I have a rather tricky problem: I prefer high-intensity exercises like squats, jump rope, burpees, HIIT… to Pilates. (I prefer walking to running). Should I switch or alternate?😭
Who the FUCK said that eggs make you fat?😪
Honestly I hope anyone who is thinking about losing weight to come across this video first or as early as possible in their journey 👌🏽🙌🏽
𝐆𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐈 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞..
loved this video girl, made me feel less alone in my body journey. I've been trying for so many years to achieve my dream body but this opened my eyes to the obstacles I've encountered along the way. Really motivating <3
7:06 of the video—i agree with that so much. I have felt that lately and by you just saying that confirms it for me. 🤍
Most of the advice you’re given are relatable mistakes i made, while also being brain exhausted from tracking my food groups which led me more to binge eat and felt worse mentally. Even before watching your video, lately I’ve been trying to eat mindfully and realized i am not that hungry and if i just reach for a snack, it because because i am treating myself (which happens rarely cuz i don’t feel the crave to have snack like i used too) I don’t have this ‘monster like eating urge’ anymore where i have to finish that snack in one sitting(like how i use to binge). It just feels natural now to have snacks and after a few bites I don’t really crave it cause i still feel full from my previous meal.
Hi im sorry its a late comment but does cardio also works?
do you repeat the same pilates every day?
I dropped 7kg in a week, I was in a wheelchair for a whole year and finally got out and started exercising immediately and lost 7kg by just exercising and moving. Now for 4 days I've been on a diet to, I'm eating vegetables, fruit, protein and everything my body needs. Not making my calories less because I want to see if I still loose weight by having the same calories but with all nutrients and healthier food.
I'm weighing myself again in 3 weeks want to space it out bigger, I was 107kg now I'm 98kg from when I weighed 4 days ago. I might be less now, or more idk. But so far I'm happy with my weight loss.
russian women are literally insane
It's clear that you photoshopped the before photo and what you're saying is common sense
1. Problem, I'm a teen and I can't go out bc my parents at work, I can't even go to gym that is not in school. 2. Problem, I can't lift anything, my finger was in pain and went to hospital, now I'm fine but I'm not that really used to lift anything. 3. Problem, I'm lazy. 4. Problem, I in the mornings eat not that healthy food, like cereal, pancakes and still craving for snacks. 5. Problem, I'm hungry every 3h probably 😔 I always want a snack. ;-; so I will never lose fat
Congrats on 57.6k subs!
I walk a LOT each day outside with my friends, for 2-3 hours or so but I still don’t feel satisfied with my body 🙁 does anyone have anymore tips? I’m also starting Eva’s Pilates for a little
all these tips that Katarina has said works really well for me, and even though I'm overweight at my age, I've dropped alot of weight just from your advice! ( also love the purple blazer on you and the dog in the back <3 )
So basically I'm screwed 🥲
is that iggy in the background 10:06
Is it normal that I keep getting hungry like every few hours, eventhough I js ate? 💔
This really resonates. I spent years thinking I just needed to work harder, when what I actually needed was a better understanding of my own body. That's one reason I have liked using AlterMe, it focuses on what works for you, not just generic fitness advice.
What Pilates did u do??!!
