  1. All you talk about is protein and fat. Protein and fat protein and fat protein and fat protein and fat. You need to talk way more about fiber because that’s the thing people are missing in their diet most.

  2. I’ve been making Chia pudding as a sweet alternative to some of my baked goods sweetened in sweeteners other than xylitol, and not adding the maple syrup made a difference. The vanilla and/or almond extract create an essence of sweetness. And I like to eat my pudding plain.

  3. Reducing the amount of sweetener is a positive change, and it still tastes delicious. However, having this stated by someone who looks anorexic isn't convincing. One tablespoon or so of Maple syrup isn't going to make people gain weight as long as they are walking or exercising in some way.

  4. Although I agree with your advice, sweetened chia pudding, or even with topping can be helpful for some people to lose weight. For example, people who are used to eating desserts daily and looking for a lower calorie solution. Removing sweetener from everything may make them fall off of their diets and binge on regular desserts. But sweetened chia pudding on occasion, or even to replace regular weekly desserts is fine. But I agree wholeheartedly trust it shouldn’t be the 2nd ingredient. That should be whatever liquid is being used. People can ease back on the frequency and amount of sweetener once they see results

  5. over consumption of food cause Weight Gain …Period
eating fruit in combo with other foods is not the Cause
all Vegans and Vegetarians would be overweight…they are mostly scrawny

  6. I started eating chia pudding after lunch and dinner to help stop appetite, and it's helping. But then heard that to control blood sugar, you need to eat protein, fat, and fiber before you eat any carbs at meals. So it's making more sense to me to eat the pudding about 15 minutes before lunch and dinner because that's what chia seed pudding is–proteins (when you add yogurt and/or protein powder), fat, and fiber. Also going to try not to add any sweetener, or very little stevia, because I, too, have heard that even the taste of sweetness can kick the body's insulin response in.

  7. Me personally, I started losing the most weight after reading the book Woman's weight loss secrets: the unspoken truth, a few things you are mentioning in this video are also in the book

  14. Hi Im not finding any greek yogurt plain that has all the fat but no sugar. The one i bought has 6 grams of sugar. Not added though. Can I still use that? I only put 1/2 cup in mine, since I use half a scoop of my protein also.

  15. This is all good for those of you who actually eat every 4-6 hours. But as a intermittent faster the chia seed pudding works great as my insulin gets to rest in the 16-20hrs I don’t eat a day😁

  16. It’s so frustrating to try and eat healthy lose weight or maintain because they’re so many nutritionist that you have to know about what go together what don’t go together I don’t understand how anyone can learn all of this unless everyone will become dietitian😢 or nutritionist

  17. I put them in hot water and eat them with Skyr – which is a Icelandic form of yogurt without any added sugars – and high in protein. It’s a bit sour but then I add cinnamon (NOT sweetened) and salty roasted almonds. Why do people always need sweet foods? It’s a matter of habit! Just CUT the sweets!
