Nost times i dpnt feel hungry but once i try it i realize "oh shit im actually really hungry".
❤️
Oh I just have a trouble with my gain weight plan. I try to eat a big meal instead of more small meals, so I have a digestive problem. Thanks for this video!
Unfortunately, this was still pretty discouraging because I DO eat constantly yet do not gain weight. Some really great takeaways that i am going to start doing though is instead of cooking with water start using heavy creams, milk, etc. I can definitely do that. Also, i do drink a lot of water and while i eat. I can start drinking more after my meal instead of during. I always though i maybe drank too much water to gain weight but with the constant "hydrate hydrate hydrate" being told all the time i thought i should be drinking water constantly. I am going to start drinking more coconut milk and calorie dense drinks. I'm always hungry yet do my gain weight. I eat a lot of peanut butter&honey tortillas, oatmeal, grits. I like pasta a lot. I eat a lot of veggies and fruits too. But i really think working on the way i drink water and cooking with other fluids instead of water will help. We shall see!
Seeing all the emaciated celebrities inspired me to come here
i went to the doctor and he said “gain 20 pounds probably. “ bc i weigh 84 pounds. so i’m here and this is so much more helpful!
I’ve been trying to gain weight for a few years, I’m trying to aim for late 80s-90s since 100 is not likely, I have adhd and gad so eating has always been a problem and I just found out that part of my low appetite even before Adderall was my anxiety making me not hungry cuz my stomach would hurt all the time
For anyone struggling with their appetite I highly recommend watching Daphne SeaCat’s what I eat in a day. She eats a lot, enough to support a healthy person, and it’s balanced, realistic and delicious. I watch while I eat and my appetite increases and I can eat a lot more!
Ik this video is old but thank you for giving actually good food examples and not “just go eat a burger” advice. I get told that all the time and it’s not that easy at all, especially bc I’m autistic and I really struggle with eating most meats and getting protein.
this is so helpful, really appreciate your accepting energy in this video. Also- for anyone looking for a super calorie dense smoothie my go to is: milk (your choice, i use oat milk or the silk protein milk) with chocolate protein powder, 1-2 bananas, and a generous amount of peanut butter. Sometimes I add chia seeds for extra fiber. The way I make it is between 700-800 calories. Just make sure to look up your protein powder because some have high lead levels
im at 105 trying to reach 120. im hoping a year by now i would have reached my goal.
My step-mother, who used to be a nurse, keep telling me I am lucky to be underweight and I HATE her for that. That is already such a strugle to convince myself that I should gain weight, and she is making it harder. Since my young age adults tell me the same thing and this s a big pressure because for four years, because of them, I almost ate nothing (two sandwiches max per day)… Now, even me body is restricting me because when I eat normally, it is too much for y stomach!
Planet Ayurveda Weight Gain Formula appears to be an excellent herbal choice for individuals looking to gain weight in a healthy way.
Ive done all of this. 35. Still can't put on weight. Doctors gaslight you. Smh. I'm about to give up. I didn't even gain weight when I got pregnant with my daughter. I was high risk because of it. That was 13 years ago. Nothing works. I had to beg to see a endocrinologist and my primary care doctor made to sure have him already assume im delusional. 😢 Appointment went awful. Basically told me it's in my head and sent me on my way. He even said to me "we can run a blood test, to ENTERTAIN what your primary care considered but you need to see a psychologist. Smh. Nobody cares. 😢 I'm 112 pounds at 5 ft 6 and am 35. I have never been able to gain and I guess despite it getting worse it's just all in my head according to my doctor. I feel like breaking down.
THANK YOU… my weight gain journey started with a bad gall bladder surgery when I was 30.. I had a horrible complication and got down to 97 lbs.. I’m 5’6”…. I’m tired of people talking about “you’re skinny”… I’m 112 lbs, age 46 now and just had a heart stent for 80% blockage…. I’m so so so lost at this point 🙁
This was incredible helpful 🌻❤️
After a period of a prescribed clean eating diet I found myself crashing every night because I was not able to consume enough energy. I really hope that with your tips I will find my way back to an active lifestyle. 🙏
I was almost going to skip your video because I thought this was going to be like every other video. But not at all!! Nice tips thank you
Its crazy for me that when I was 13 all I wanted was to loose weight, I hated the way I looked even tho I wasn’t even fat. I was a healthy weight but I continued to feel so guilty for eating, checking calories in every food, and crying when I ate a nutritious full meal, I was never skinny enough to like what I saw in the mirror. But now I’m 18, I finally got over that eating disorder and I started liking how I looked. I stopped going to rhythmic gymnastics bc the environment was so toxic and I started going to karate with my dad. I love how supportive everyone is and that it is encouraged to eat a lot and focus on having nutritious meals and gain muscle and good condition, not just physical appearance but rather how you can improve ur mental health and condition. Now bc of stress in school and since I train a lot I went down in weight a lot, bc of mental health as well I can’t eat when I’m anxious or in a depressive episode so when I finally get out of it I need to make up for the lost weight.
Now I’m 18 and I’m finally taking care of my body, realising I was always in a healthy weight except now now bc of mental health, but food is something I can control to make my body be healthy.
It is possible to recover, and possible to gain control again and care for yourself. You’re enough, and deserve to be happy and healthy ❤
👍👍
Idk when will i gain weight…always lean 🙁
I have been low weight my whole life. Ever since I got acne in my late teens and changed my diet to non inflammatory, unproccesed foods with no sugar at all, And cut out bread and pasta, I have been losing weight rapidly. I feel frustrated cause I want to take care of my gut health with proper nutrition but this way I have to decide between having acne with a normal weighing body or clear skin but an ultra skinny body.
A lot of the options in this video are things that break me out so lol
Too much intro.

It's really refreshing to hear someone talking sensibly about how to gain weight healthfully. You've given some really good tips, and I'm going to use some of them!
I'm one of those people who loses weight easily and has had to work at gaining and maintaining. I've learned a lot over the years, so I have some tips to share:
1. Salt is a great nausea-fighter. Nibble salty crackers or potato chips (maybe even sprinkle on a little more salt). Sip salty broth. Or sip a medical-strength electrolyte solution — I like LMNT brand. However you get your salt, don’t nibble or sip just a little and give up — you will probably need more salt than you expect so keep going! (This can really help for morning sickness in pregnancy, and BTW, you need extra salt to increase your blood volume when pregnant.)
2. Taking a high-powered probiotic has helped me gain weight. I've seen this help other people, too.
3. I used to dislike eating because I often felt bad afterward. One doctor recommended Barry Sears's "Zone Diet" which taught me to balance my protein and carbs so I'd feel much better after meals and snacks. Also, Peter d'Adamo's "Blood Type Diet" taught me some foods to avoid so I would feel better after eating.
4. When my schedule allows, it helps me tremendously to do a "big cook" over the weekend. I cook several different things (stew, meatloaf, roast chicken, egg salad, hummus, cranberry sauce, muffins, etc.) so I have lots of good things ready to eat during the week.
I hope these tips will be helpful to other people who need to gain weight!
This is a very inspiring video and I’m grateful to have come across it. I have never weighed more than a hundred and fifty pounds, down through the years I had lost weight to about a hundred and forty pounds. Last year I was diagnosed with thyroid disease and I lost over twenty pounds and I still haven’t recovered my weight back as of now. So it’s very important for some of us that have issues in that area and I will continue to research ways on how to recover at a healthy level. Thank you for your awesome video.
I’m not gonna say my age but I’m 85 pounds with an extremely fast metabolism and I eat like crazy . I don’t even know what to do anymore 🥹✌️
Really really good, well informed, practical advice. I´m saving this for later.
My goal is to have a waist and I’ve always struggled with over snacking and feeling “skinny fat”. Ever since I went on adhd meds I’m now ~95pounds and square. I don’t wanna get eat too unhealthy – brain fog, acne, fat, etc. but I know I have to gain weight to tone my body. I’m excited to apply these!
i used to be anorexic, and i’ve now decided that i think slightly bigger bodies are very flattering! Thanks for uploading this! i’m going to be mainly focusing on muscle gain rather than working out for weight loss.
