Lovely video. Very informative.
I was wondering though. When you google macronutrients plate, sometimes it shows half a plate of vegetables, and rest is carbs and protein. Do I assume correctly, that the world has not agreed on the standard amounts on the plate?

Amazing video.
Exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you ❤
Wonderful well rounded video. I have a few minor health issues that need to be sorted around the food area. This really helped
I love watching your food videos, I am 76, obese and diabetic type 2 along with lots of other problems, my problem is I wasnt taught mindful eating and I struggle to know when to stop eating, I need help
came from the recomended 2024 one, best choice everr
The only thing that stresses me out about food is trying to plan for what I'm going to cook. It's a lot of mental labor
What are your thoughts on all the alternative sweeteners out there? So sugar vs honey, monk fruit, maple syrup, xylitol, stevia (which I’ve never heard anything good about), etc?
You're awesome! I found over the years I've eaten too many yucky refined carbs in my younger years. Live and learn! The past 30 years or so (I'm 56 now), been eating less carbs and when I do it is quality carbs like brown rice, oatmeal, quinoa, barley, etc. I do eat more protein than I have in the past as well, sometimes snacking on cubes of chicken breast seasoned with a bit of dry rub along with some roasted veggies, so good! I truly feel fuller between meals. I love soup too – always make a pot of soup for the week that can be eaten whenever, as a meal, a snack, etc.
Love how you don’t just focus on food but a holistic approach
And this is why you are my No 1 go to for all advice nutritional
Thank you very much Lucie✨🌟⭐ for taking your valuable time and guiding us and teaching us about nutrition 🍽️ and how to learn how to have balance ⚖️ in life. I used to be into 3 month fast diets in my highschool years and starve myself with cabagge 🥬 soup 🍲 for weight loss that only had veggies but zero carbs and then I would feel like I would almost faint 😢 you're a huge admiration and inspiration to me the way you prep your meals and the way you take care of your health inside out eating healthy balanced meals and not deprive yourself from any food, god bless your life very much✨⭐🌟
Great review/reminder. Thank you. Eating healthy is an ongoing challenge. It helps to be thoughtful in your choices. My favorite is black beans, a liotle rice, and top with a little shredded cheese. Yummy. 😊
Hello
I’ve been avoiding this because I’m enduring a Crohn’s flare and food choices are really bad and miserable: no pips, nuts, skins, seeds or high fibre grains and veg. I can’t eat any of the foods I normally rely on like pulses and greens which I consider healthy. It’s all beige!😩
Connection is the tricky part for me.
Thanks for the information. I always learn something.
