Now my doctor wants me to go on a glp-1, but I’m trying to take less rx’s not more.

  2. I quit almost 6 months ago. I eat like a bird ( and mostly fruits and veggies) maybe 1700 calories a day and walk 2 miles a day, but still gaining weight. Just keeps piling on. Its a mystery. Wtf.

  4. day 7 of quitting nic cold turkey and i've gained about 10 lbs 🙁 . I thought my appetite and metabolism had naturally increased, but turns out it was the nicotine all along. Trying to get back into a mental state of eating healthy since I've had that mindset since the beginning of the year. wish me luck because my increased appetite has been brutal

  5. After 36 years of being a slim and trim 135 pounds, I quit smoking and I ballooned out to 275. That's right, I doubled my body weight. I got kicked out of the navy for being obese. I developed sleep apnea. I had to give up running, riding my bike, water skiing, scuba diving and riding roller coasters because I was too fat. I had to give all my favorite clothes to charity. I wish I would have taken my chances on cancer and kept right on smoking

  6. I wish i never quit or i had this video 10 years ago, I gained so much weight especially in my belly I look pregnant and Im a male for goodness sake and I tried exercise and all the diets

  7. Chances are you are overweight when you decide to quit smoking most of America is. Why not quit and let diet and exercise come into play that'll take your mind off cigarettes.

  8. Thank You so much for all of your videos. I wish I had watched this one early on. I am in month 11 of quitting smoking and alcohol. I do feel better and it is getting easier, even in social outings. However, the bad news is, I have put on weight, which is what I did not want to do. This video has certainly given me ideas on what to try and do next so I can start losing weight. Everything you said about quitting and cravings was eye opening. But now I need to plan on how to tackle my weight problem. I wish you did a CBQ method to lose weight!

  9. Sometimes I have to save the videos and review them later. So much of smoking is just done without thinking. This information is so life changing. Thanks for helping me to be a happy non smoker.

  10. This video made me think about my diabetes. Could this be why my glucose levels run high, I smoke a pack a day. Would quitting smoking lower my sugar levels. I am also a diet Pepsi drinker and coffee with Splenda sweetener and lots of coffee mate cream. I am thinking that my diabetes could get better. Am I right?

  11. The secret is be active. I walk 5km everyday and also walk to most places i have to get to. Getting some weights and working out 6 times a week helps too. Haven't put on weight yet, but i can breathe better.

  12. I’ve been nicotine free for about a month now. I gained 15 lbs since then. My problem is not the slowed metabolism but rather constantly feeling hungry and wanting to eat like a dog. I’ve been addicted for 3 years, I’m not going back. I still don’t have the best energy levels, and I’ve been sleeping so much more and feeling far more tired every damn morning I wake up. I have a serious craving for sugary foods now. Apple cider vinegar cures the sweet tooth, and I’m planning on slowly cutting back the amount of food I have been eating. It’s definitely hard, but I’m hoping my hunger levels will return to normal soon. I don’t want to feel like this for the rest of my life. I remember before I started how it wasn’t like this, so I can only hope…

  13. I gained 15 points in 30 days and went from a size 10 to 16. I feel like I am 7 months pregnant and oh yeah…I eat 1450 calories daily and work out 3x week. Tell me how is that possible and yes I am drinking so much water I am urinating every 15-30minutes

  14. I quit eating by telling myself now i never need to waste money on food again. I am finally free from survival needs! Then i saw all the free food of pigeons walking around parading their meat as free food.

Now i only eat one meal a day after work. Not for survival needs but for pleasure. No it is not pigeons.

  15. Wish I saw this before I quit, I already gained 5 kilos! I am going to brush my teeth directly after I eat! And start planning meals.
    Very helpful video, thank you!
