  1. How does one that has high blood pressure and is prediabetic to go on the 36 hour fasting? After 6 hours of not eating, I get lightheaded and headaches and feel like want to pass out.

  2. In the 2010s, a Swedish physician—the well-known professor of obesity and weight researcher Stephan Rössner—stated: "You can lose weight by eating raspberry-flavored gummy candies, doing handstands, and yodeling—provided you consume less energy than you expend."

Professor Rössner faced a massive backlash following these remarks, culminating in one of the largest and most acrimonious "diet wars" in the Swedish media during the winter of 2013.

Critics pointed out that, within the body, a calorie is not simply a calorie. Sugar (such as raspberry gummies) triggers insulin release and hunger, whereas fat and protein stimulate satiety hormones. Consequently, advising an overweight person to diet by eating raspberry gummies was considered—in practical terms—downright sadistic and impossible to follow.

Rössner’s conventional stance led to accusations that he (and the medical establishment) were blaming individuals. Critics argued that the "eat less, run more" message essentially told people the problem was their own fault—implying that failure was simply a matter of lacking willpower.

  3. This is very interesting information…
Im goin to try th meat thing ..
Because I just tried goin.bak on veggies and my gut is awful …
I have diverticular disease and have had sepsis twice …
    Thank you

  4. You say. Your body will tell you when you need food & water? I had a stroke at 38 (snow boarding accident). I’m 62 now. Since 38, I have no sense of hunger or thirst. I have to force myself to eat. Luckily I have a wife who makes me eat.

  5. Dr The truth about, which one of the following is strangling you, maybe sabotaging you from setting the link free you labeled Monster:-

ሀ) a little bit of ሞስራቅ ገና አልወጣላትሞ

    ለ) ትንሽ ኩራት ነገር
    ሐ) ሀ/ ሐ
    መ) None of the above

  6. This is another instance where she is blending a small grain of real science with a massive amount of pseudoscientific marketing.Your body fat is not literally made out of "toxins" or "synthetic estrogen." Belly weight in men is primarily composed of triglycerides (stored dietary fat and sugar WTF 🤬????? Why so wrong FACT CHECK OMG 😱

  7. No, that claim is medically inaccurate. While the brain does convert testosterone into estrogen, it is not the only place it is made, and it is not the source of estrogen for the rest of a man's body. WTF 🤬 HOW CAN U BE A EXPERT???

  8. This doctor is completely wrong. Where is the fact checkingIng oh my gosh!!! she is way off on estrogen being in the man’s brain only. Why is this not countered by the host?

  9. Why would it be bad if men lost belly fat faster than women?

Women die of heart attack much less than men. I know a lot more men than women that have health problems. These women I know have horrible diets and some are major alcoholics. Yet they still doing fine. All of the men I have known in my life who are alcoholics are now dead or very sick.

  10. C’mon. Fasting is real and it’s real because it allows the body to heal itself. Therefore, fasting is an incredibly beautiful experience that has absolutely nothing to do with shoving food into your mouth. Three days of fasting you balk? That’s just the beginning of the fasting cycle. Invite yourself in. Fast slowly and fast longly. Let the body lead.

  11. Fab podcast as always. 1 thing that I seldom hear mentioned during fasting talks is e.g. the take away I think most people have on say a 16/8 fast, is if you start eating at 10am and finish eating say steak and veg or whatever at 6pm, that is your 16 hour fast if you don't eat again until 10am next day, however, I believe you are not in a fasted state until that meal you ate at 6pm has been thoroughly digested, so in this example to my knowledge from videos like this, you will not have done a 16 hour fast. Am I correct, because this sounds logical to me? In other words the fast starts when digestion finishes, the more you have in your digestive system at 6pm the longer it will take to digest and the shorter the fast will have been.

  12. Whenever I hear lectures like this, I look to the person that's lecturing, and if she doesn't look healthy, I have no interest.Whatsoever, this woman does not look healthy
