why you can’t lose cortisol belly after long-term stress 😮‍💨 #shorts

why you can’t lose your cortisol belly when you’ve lived with long-term stress 😮‍💨

losing your cortisol belly is nearly impossible if you’re living in a state of constant stress 🥹

this is because your cortisol levels are chronically elevated due to ongoing stress, which leads to extra storing calories in your body, especially in your belly / stomach region 😮‍💨

when your cortisol levels are high, it promotes the storage of fat your lower belly…. **and the reason why you can’t suck in your lower belly as easily** is because a cortisol belly is made of denser visceral fat that lives UNDER your muscles in your lower belly, making it harder to pull in as easily 🥹

to lose your cortisol belly, your body needs is to get out of it’s habitual stress patterns first 🙌🏼

you don’t need to do a ton of sit ups or intense workouts at first…(that’s just keeping your body in stress)…

it’s actually more effective to stop your intense ab workouts 🤯

you need to release the excess stress hormones out of your body and then you’ll be able to lose your cortisol belly effectively ✌🏼

  1. hello I think I have this , does anyone have this feeling like your whole abdomen has been pumped with air? I am on medication for my CPTSD to help me sleep 3. drugs clonazepam , quetiapine and mirtazapine , but they are bad for your liver I think so I worry about that too but I know I cant sleep without my meds. ive tried . anyone here found anything that helps with cortisol belly?

  2. I didn’t understand using my hands, maybe since I have a pretty round belly. I looked down and tried to suck it in using my whole midsection, but it only moved a little. Then as i focused just on just my upper abs, my WHOLE BELLY shifted STRAIGHT upwards, creating the illusion of my gut was HALF its size. I had ab-solutely (ha) no idea my gut was doing that for over a decade! It was fighting gravity so long, no wonder i have constant soreness in there!

  3. It also doesn't help with all the frued and processes foods and food while chemicals on em that aren't good for anyone and actually snacking throughout the day rather than eat 3 big meals a day will boost your metabolism..walk more (hike) & drink water, and mentally get healthy and have self love u will become happier n all will fall into place vut u gotra want it!

  4. Cortisol and stress had ruined my body. And My a hole doctor tried to gaslight me for an hour straight saying “I was just eating too much and not exercising” “it’s science” as if he has a video camera in my house and follows me around. No he must be a psychic. I’m sure it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I’ve lost everything this year and was abused and my body has basically gone into shock. I eat nothing but fruits and vegetables and protein but because of the stress I’m storing fat. Cortisol is the absolute f’ing worst!!! It also made most of my beautiful hair fall out and the collagen in my lips and skin disappear. 🫥 I went from Margot Robbie to Amy Schumer and my Doctor is sitting there blaming it on me. Typical

    Does anyone have any advice?
