  1. This diet looks really good. The only thing I’m concerned about is that it’s low in protein. There’s so much research now regarding 1 g of protein per lb of weight, for pre and post menopausal women. What are your thoughts?

  2. Hello Bill, I know you promote full fat diary but I’m having heart issues and have been using low fat milk to avoid the saturated fats. What do I end up missing out on by not using full fat milk?

  3. Im so excited I found you! This is exactly what I've been looking for . Been on and off the keto diet with some results but tired of how restricting it is. Thank you for giving such great recipes!

  4. My family is from Northern Spain (both mom and dad’s family) I’m 73 yrs young and visiting family and friends is the best 🥲 fewer and fewer are left so I’m looking forward to take my granddaughters next summer! My favorite bean dish… FABADA Asturiana, with all the ham and sausages, including morcilla the traditional blood sausage. Thank you for the videos. Carmen Maria Suarez

  5. I'm trying to put more effort into the Med diet now, since my cholesterol is up, but is it still good when the triglycerides are up too? I hadn't been to the doctor in several years (long story), but now that I'm on Medicare (hubby is too) I'm finally back to getting the check ups. I need to get my numbers down, and I want to make sure the Med diet is still a good choice. I've been watching you for several years!

  6. I would love to be able to follow a plan like this. I absolutely can not tolerate any cheeses though. What do you recommend instead? I know they act as fat and protein. Is having some greek yogurt the only alternative? I struggle only with this aspect because a lot of the meals have some sort of cheese in them. Advice appreciated.

  7. Currently on keto. Going to try to transition to Mediterranean. Starting with a medi-keto. Probably won’t do grains because grains always tend to inflame me. But I am going to try adding beans in.

  8. Love how balanced this plan is 🥗 But even when I ate like this, I stayed stuck. The big change came after I started Eat like a Woman Protocol (Loren Green). It taught me how to eat in harmony with my digestion, and the weight finally came off 🔓

  9. Appreciate this layout 🍅 I tried the Mediterranean diet for months but barely lost a pound. Then someone mentioned Eat like a Woman Protocol and I realized the food combinations were the issue. Now I feel light and energized again 💃

  10. I LOVE every single recipe you featured in this video! I still make all of these often after participating in your weight loss program a couple of years ago. The white bean stew is one of my all time favorites😍 Your recipes have really pushed me to try new foods. I never ate olives or white beans before watching your channel and doing the program and now I eat them regularly. Thank you😊

  11. Bad dietitians hate him! He recommends a high-fat, high-carb diet to people and says they'll lose weight!😄

But it's not just about the quantity of food, it's about the quality.

I use a lot of olive oil and if you believe the calorie counting theory, I would have to weigh over 150 kilograms now. That's nonsense. It's not the calories themselves that matter, it's the quality of the calories.

  12. Hi! I’m enjoying the Mediterranean Diet!! It has had a positive effect on me already!! I love the weight loss aspect of it and I’d like to learn more about anti inflammatory foods and recipes.

  13. My problem with the Mediterranean diet is all the food prep, plus, a lot of the meals are just not to my liking. For example, I can't stand avocado toast, I'd probably take the toast out and eat the salad part, maybe eat a piece of bread on the side. Also, I absolutely HATE feta cheese. I'm a cheddar/mozarella/pepper jack kind of person. I like what you said about cooking enough for two meals, and having leftovers for lunch the next day. Also, some of the staple foods in the diet, like tomatoes, I can't eat because of serious GERD. I'd love to see a Mediterranean meal plan for people with dietary restrictions.
