  1. the maintenance question is actually where semaglutide vs tirzepatide gets really interesting practically. sema is solid but a lot of people find they need to stay at a relatively high dose to keep appetite suppression working long term. tirz hitting both GLP-1 and GIP receptors seems to give more flexibility at lower maintenance doses for some people, which matters a lot for cost and side effect management over years, not months. i switched to compounded tirz through FormBlends after plateauing on sema and the appetite difference was noticeable within the first few weeks. the rebound fear Dr. Lee mentions is real, but choosing the right medication AND the right maintenance dose matters just as much as the diet and exercise habits he covers here.

  2. the maintenance phase is where people underestimate how much work it actually takes. tirzepatide changes your hunger signals but once you taper off, those signals can come back. i went through formblends and my provider was upfront about that from day one, which i appreciated.

  3. Thank you for this informative video. The healthy diet, portion size, exercise and tapering off makes this the most comprehensive advice I’ve seen across social media on weight loss maintenance.

  4. I take Zepbound. I friggin love this stuff. I'm going to keep talking it to maintain my current weight of 147. I'm down from 215 lb. I never thought I'd see the day of wearing single digit sizes and asking the sales lady to bring a small back to the dressing room! It feels so good to wake up in the morning and not hate my body.

  5. Fantastic video 🙌 thank you.
I just reached my weight goal with Tirzepatide after being on it for 11 months! It was a great journey. I was looking for some advice for keeping the weight off that’s an Amazing video 🎉Am very grateful for it!

  6. As a diabetic monjaro has a learning curb i wish i had known. Once you hit your desired weight and sugar levels taper back down to a low dose. Learn what spikes your sugar which would be carbs and added sugar. Whuch is anything white and anything grown underground. Learn how to eat and exercise as a lifestyle. Once you know, lower the dosage to the lowest even possibly every other week. This is not a goid long term drug. It can cause more problems in the long run. Trade carbs for this drug.

  7. Hello Doctor,
Just been asked to stop at 10mg due high liver levels
    ALT 159

    AST 114
I have reversed my HC1a from 56 to 42 and lost 2 stone
Could I reduce the dose gradually or stop immediately?

  8. if you mounjaro current dose is working, should you still go up? Is it going to make it better so to speak? I hope I make sense. I'm on 5mg week 3. Can anybody give any advice?

  9. I picked up 8 lbs in a week, but I am one of those people who lost 2-4 lbs a week. I only lost 25lbs in 8 months. I started out 165 and I am trying to get back down to between 130-135 without gaining the weight back. My Doctor stated most people gain it back when they stop. I am determined to figure out how to not gain the weight back. My cousin stopped because the doctor told her she was losing to much weight. Her body continued to lose even after she stopped.

  10. Uhm I’m not stopping. I got my life back. I starved my self for years and worked out only to gain weight. Some Diabetics can’t loose weight that easy. But I still have to work out and eat right on the monjuro for it to work. At least monjuro actually helps. But the pharmacies have ran out of Monjuro for 2 months now. Got people who don’t need it wasting it and the company can’t keep up with the demand. It’s like $500 for one shot that last a week. Most of those that aren’t diabetic would be better off if they just eat right. Must be damn nice you monjuro hogs 😡

  11. I believe it is possible to maintain after stopping tirzepatide, but it isn't easy. I had to stop for three months while sorting out insurance and supply chain problems. I had to stop cold turkey at 7.5 and the "food noise" and cravings gradually resumed so I had to keep very focused on the new habits I had established for a year+ with diet and exercise. I am T2D and had lost 70lbs with help from Moujaro and later Ozempic. After I stopped Ozempic suddenly, I gained and re-lost 5lbs several times but managed to remain stable in that range. It wasn't until I resumed Mounjaro (which I prefer to Ozempic) that I was able to make further progress toward my weight goal and break the plateau. I have about 13 more pounds to lose before I hit my healthy weight goal of 150 lbs (5'5") and can hopefully find a maintenance strategy that works for me.

  12. I have lost 95 lbs using mounjaro but then my insurance stopped covering it. My biggest fear is gaining weight. I learned healthy habits while taking the medication and will work hard to maintain those habits.

  13. Would love to know when studies emerge that address the longterm maintenance protocol for patients after ending Tirzepatide for weight loss. I suppose that will come after Zepbound hits the market, now that it's been approved.
