Chia seeds for fiber and fullness. Add to rolled oats and blueberries with nuts. Full sated and high fiber AM!!
If you buy the brand Eden. They soak their beans and add a small piece of kombu to help with gas. You get what you pay for.
Do you have a recipe for bean burrito?
now I’m curious about drinking soy milk made from soy beans in the morning would have similar benefits
I will choke peanut casing
I’m sorry but you took so long to get to the point I just zoned out. I really wish that content creators would learn to start out with the good stuff!
I would eat pnut butter with skin – we need you to educate us what to do!! Do you have a recipe book? Just the facts of what to eat? 🙂
I don't agree about the fish facts.

Question. If using canned beans, do you rinse them or not. We are having a debate on if you rinse them they lose the fiber/ nutrients. Thanks
What about if I get gout what’s the best way to not have a flair up
I love how you always give examples of what you can do with the foods that you speak of
The study of two different Masi tribes resulted in that the Mei tribe that ate mostly meat and milk and honey were taller healthier and had better teeth and lived longer. The Mesa tribe that ate grains and starches were shorter and sick and had dental problems because of the grains and starches. You really need to update your information. In India, the people that are eating a vegetarian diet with grains are all getting diabetes and many doctors in India are now recommending that they stop the grains and add red meat and other proteins. Their diabetes is reversing because they stop eating the grains and starches.
People eat cellulose every day. If you ever purchased sliced cheese or shredded cheese, prepackaged, you are eating sawdust, cellulose. Millions of people by cheese that has been pre-sliced or pre-shredded oh and that Parmesan cheese, you shake out of a container onto your spaghetti or pizza, tons of cellulose. for convenience, but if you read the ingredients, you will see that they put cellulose dust in the product to keep it separated, or the slices of cheese and the shredded cheese would clump back together. The only time sliced cheese has little to no cellulose is when you buy the kind that are separated by a piece of parchment paper so they don’t clump back together again. If you eat at a restaurant, you are eating cheese with cellulose. People eat cellulose every day!
Tip for eating beans without gas discomfort. When you cook the beans, whether you soaked overnight or not, change the water every 20-30 minutes during cooking and rinse with fresh water. Repeat until cooked. Voila! Beans that don't cause stomach distress. 😀
Hi Dr Lu… What about Diabetic people who are beginning to shows signs of high creatinine…?
Can I please get your granola recipe
is there a page with these recipes
Mr Frank Suarez found in his practice of many years and patients that we all have different aggressor foods. He noted one of his patient had insulin spike by pork. It did not matter if it was lean pork. Other patients showed higher spike for one foods then others. For example Corn and tortillas would haver higher glycemic levels then white rice. He insisted to take our time and figure this out.
So, can I eat healthy fats like nuts, seeds, avocado, olives and olive oil if I’m insulin resistant and prediabetic?
What if it’s great during the day but crash at night?
seedless grapes have had the god in food removed… I love reg grapes with the seeds…try and find them!!..Cheers from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada (good stuff…I subscribed. I'm 77 and got carded at the ferry the other day for the senior discount)
Is black pearl rice good for us?
Thank you so much for sharing! I unfortunately can’t eat beans because I have IBS, beans and lentils cause me really bad stomach pain for about a week and a half. I do add fibre, like flaxseed daily to my diet. Is there an alternative to beans which I enjoy eating but suffer so I no longer eat it.
Wow! I am impressed with her granola bars. She used soluble fiber, flax seeds, to keep the ingredients together. Ingenious.
Where can I find a text doc/printout of her recipes?
What about leaky gut, and problems with fecal incontinence, when eating all that fiber, seems to cause more of the problem with me…
Honey was not on the list, and are triscuts ok?
A 26 minute video with 3 minutes of information.
Wow! I just came across your videos and you are so right!!! I have finally eliminated snacking because of eating beans
Fish is good
Thank you so much. Sooooooo Beans eh? Building up to 1 – 1.5 cups a day, even per meal eventually. That is A LOT! Wow!!!. Having said that, I have just today for the first time eaten a 1 Litre SMOOTHIE from my glass mason jar – made with 1 cup frozen Blueberries, 2tbsp Hemp Hearts, 1 tbsp Grounded Flax Seeds, 3 medium Medjool Dates, 1 large Banana, Cacao & Maca Powder, 2 cups Water, AND 1 CUP of CHICKPEAS. WOW WEE! VERY VERY VERY FILLIING! I am feeling prepped for running a 26k marathon now! I couldn’t taste the beans at all, no stomach issues, satiated, so let’s see. 🫐
Você poderia colocar faixa de audio em português, Brasil?
Is this a meat- free diet? As in, one should replace animal foods for legumes? Or will my insulin sensitivity get better with adding these high fiber foods?
Thank you lady!
Great Video!
Dr., Could you possibly add the amounts of the ingredients to your recipes? Or provide a link for them… Thanks
