INFORMATION ABOUT CIRS:
I mentioned Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) in the video and how exposure to toxins (when combined with a genetic predisposition) can make it much harder for people to get relief from symptoms, even following a Carnivore Diet. If you aren’t healing and feeling MUCH better after six months of eating this way, I would encourage you to look into other possible causes.

One way to order the CIRS labwork:
If you think you have CIRS, but you aren’t able to afford the treatments, eating a carnivore diet while also getting extra sun exposure and eating omega 3s (seafood!) does help some people to feel relief from symptoms. Removing yourself from an environment with mold and avoiding excess environmental and dietary toxins is never a bad idea, but I know it’s not always an easy fix. And if none of that gets your symptoms to go away, PLEASE know that there are ways to make the Shoemaker protocol more doable. THERE IS HOPE, and you don’t have to be a millionaire to find healing by using this protocol. ❤

  1. I LOVE this video and I want to see more like this from Kelly! If any of you out there, we’re looking for a support group for Carnivore, this just gives you a taste of what it’s like. I’m in the Monday night groups with Kelly and they’re full of great people who are at all different levels of carnivore, that love to support each other. Kelly Hogan is almost a 14 year veteran of carnivore, but strongly encourage his other members to speak up and offer suggestions, it’s like a think tank of carnivores bettering themselves. It’s the highlight of my week being a part of Kelly’s coaching group. I’ve made lots of wonderful friends and acquaintances there.

  2. Dear Kelly, I did a carnivore for a month and dropped 20 pounds, joint pain gone but the curious thing was my breathing. 2 flights of stairs from a beach winded me and after the C diet I had no issue. Dr William Davis's book, " Wheat Belly," explains why. Suspension of small LDL from seeds of grass(oats, wheat, rice). Dr. Davis's new book called, "Supergut," has me eating SIBO yogurt and that has been a great addition.

  3. Started Carnivore 1/13/25. Im 50 years old had a full hysterectomy due to stage 4 overian cancer put me straight into menopause I've been in remission for 6 months. Having a hard time losing weight.

  4. I turn 60 in a few months and have been on carnivore/IF for almost 3 months. I have lost 20 lbs. Weight has come off steadily, my joint pain is almost gone, I no longer snore, according to DH, my waist is shrinking rapidly, clothes fit better, no more "liver ache," my skin has become very smooth, and I've lost most of the dependent edema after a long day on my feet. My gums have quit bleeding and my teeth are always glassy smooth.

In July, I had landed in the hospital with atrial fibrillation. I had a catheter ablation for it, and knew something had to change—and quick, or I would face an old age of crippling heart disrase, stroke, and dementia, and I thought of a friend who was preaching about carnivore and gave it a try.

It has been relatively easy to stay on the diet. Cravings and aimless eating are simply a thing of the past.

  5. Hi, I'm 70 and I did Keto first and during the pandemic my blood sugar soared into 300+. I was diagnosed type 2. Didn't matter being on Keto. I went on Carnivore to get my blood sugar under control…a1c was 6.1 but zoomed to 13.0. On canivore my blood sugar has been coming down, now my fasting is 145 t0 157. Still needs to get another 50-60 points. I've lost 40 lbs but have stalled a number of months. I did start going to the gym when I started Carnivore. This month I started losing again. Praise God! However I was just diagnosed with 90% calcification…had a CT scan of my heart and have been referred to a cardiologist. Love your channel

  6. Been doing carnivore for just over 3 weeks, first 2 weeks were pretty good, in fact I slept very little but didn’t need more, body becoming more flexible, lost 3 kilos.

but then going into the third week I suddenly just could not sleep and and I succumbed and ate some chocolate just so I could sleep…it didn’t contain sugar and was certainly a high quality organic brand but very disappointing and have eaten more of that chocolate for 3 days in a row….

It felt like the meat was somehow creating a deficiency and sleep is something that I’ve had zero problems with for years.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone has had the same issue regarding sleep and what they did please?

I was adding pink Himalayan salt and have had almost zero cramping, no diarrhoea..

Although going into the third week my bowels slowed right down but were great in the first 2 weeks.

  7. I love your videos. You are so sensible, sincere, and down to earth. I am a guy, but you have inspired me to go no carb, as I am so overweight, in pain, and miserable. I was once a lean mean US Marine, but at 60 life is hard for me. Thank you, Kelly. 🙂

  8. Kelly, love you, love your interviews. You have done an amazing job handling your excess weight. You are a beautiful woman. I spent 20 years with an eating disorder. I recognize the look in the eyes, jawline and shoulders. I don’t want to insult you, but I do not think that you look healthy. I’m not trying to discourage you. I’m trying to warn you that maybe you’re going to far. It happens to a lot of really great people. It isn’t healthy to have some good nice and bones with no fat on top of them. Fat is important, especially in women. I only wish the best for you

  9. I've done some form of low carb/keto etc for most of my life. Dr Stillman's Quick Weightloss diet set the pace when I was a teenager back in the 70s. My trouble is sticking with it. I've lost weight several times but keeping it off is hard because the world doesn't eat this way and neither does the husband. I'm edging closer to 70 by the day. I've got fibromyalgia. I have an infection in my leg that has been there for 3 years. I deal with a lot of night pain in my back. I've come to the conclusion that carnivore is the way it is going to have to be to heal.

  10. Ok these ladies are still young. Any old ladies doing this way of eating? I've lost 68 lb on keto. This was 3 years ago. Then my husband died on our 56 wedding Anniversary. I' m 77 years old now. My life turned upside down, I went off Keto. I moved from the USA to Northern Ireland. Lots of carbs here! I gained back 20 pounds. 3 years later I restarted keto. But follow Dr Berry and saw you. I enjoy your energy. So I'm now one week eating meat, seafood, dairy and eggs. Wish me luck! We shall see if it helps me get strong.

  11. Hey Kelly hey Lynn love this love all your videos Kelly!!! You are amazing your ladies are amazing I'm so motivated because of you and all of the carnivore and keto people out there telling the truth!!!
I am 54 I have mild cerebral palsy and I was born with no thyroid sort of a one two punch The CP I manage myself which really only affects my legs but it can be painful walking but since I started eating only red meat the pain is gone absolutely!! I've been keto close to 10 years now and carnviore off and on for a couple.
I noticed red meat equals no pain red meat equals more energy red meat equals less depression and anxiety. And bloat is a memory on carnivore.
Being married it's kind of hard to just eat meat the husband wants other things so I'm going back and forth with the vegetables and the salads and the carnivore and I told him this week sorry it's red meat all the way now.
I can't live with the pain when I know there is something so satisfying and easy and delicious and amazing and there's nothing stopping me from doing it.
So thank you all of you for all you do and you are so beautiful Kelly wow.

  12. I'm 69…was on keto successfully for 18 months but the sugar cravings were pernicious which scared me…

Now I'm full carnivore with no sugar substitutes either…sweet is dangerous…

    Ty for all you do…

    Linda 🐝

  13. Hey ladies great video, I’m wondering what my problem could be but I get really tired after I eat whether it’s high protein keto or more recently high fat carnivore. I thought maybe the high fat would help but I gained weight instead of losing and I’m still not energized. Help what could I do to change this?

  14. Hi Kelly, I've just started the carnivore diet. I hope I can cure my Lymphedema, I love watching all your videos they're informative and inspirational to me. I weigh 383lbs of water weight, due to having Lymphedema for years. God has put you in my path for a reason, keep making videos. I would love for you to give me pointers, God bless you and your family.

  15. Hi I was trying to find a recent video you shot, but this is the most recent I found. Just wanted to say, I stumbled on your videos by accident. I have been doing carnivore for 3 weeks today. My mind fog has cleared, my pain level is so much less and its manageable, and my energy level has shot way up. Thankyou for all that you do. I reverted to carnivore out of desperation. My weight wasn't going anywhere on keto. And keto was not addressing my other concerns. I will never go back just because I feel amazing.

  16. Tami said simple. That is why I started fasting, it was simple. Too many diets put all your focus on food. But, with fasting, like I do with everything, I overthink it and make it harder than it needs to be.

  17. You can't out exercise a bad diet. Agreed. Dr Fung also says you can't out-fast a bad diet either. I get irritated when I see people comment that you can eat whatever you want if you do intermittent fasting. Maybe for a few people – most of us… No!
