  1. Anyone else know about biochemist, Karen Hurd’s, Bean Protocol detox diet? Google it to read the fascinating story of how beans saved her young child who had been poisoned by pesticides used in their rental home back in the 90’s.

  2. Jump all the way to 33:00. You’ll find out it’s not peanut butter in the jar, unfortunately. I’m happy eating a slice of my homemade sourdough bread every day, usually with a fried egg or cottage cheese and melon. I use freshly milled ancient grains and I’m down over 20 pounds and still going. I was plant based for 7 years and will never give up an entire food group again.

  3. I found beans hard to digest even after soaking and rinsing. Does not having a gallbladder effect digestion of beans in one's diet? Also, what about the negative effects of beans fermenting in your gut, causing bacteria upload and diverticulitis?

  4. Thank you for helping us understand. And for the whiners saying your vid is too long? Forget about em; they just want to pick a fight. Some folks aren’t happy unless they complain out loud.

  5. Yes cookies and cigarettes and your childhood history. Yes potatoes chips, tortilla chips, Entenmans chocolate covered doughnuts and Entennmans rasberry Danish twist and Hagen Daz vanilla Swiss almond ice cream
I love eating whole packages of Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies. The new ones with Hersheys chocolate chunks. Let me share my childhood history for everyone to enjoy. I love sourcream on baked potatoes yum. Lots of butter too! Wow the video is near the end and you have only told us we shouldn't eat sugar and refined carbs. Your still telling us about your life story When I was a kid my family was poor. We were skinny. I got a packet of instant oatmeal for breakfast. 1 soft boiled egg. 1 glass of orange juice. Lunch was 1 sandwich of bologne on white bread. Supper was 1 small white iceberg lettuce salad with tomatoes and cucumber and celery. My mom made salad dressing from mazola corn oil and vinegar. I got 2 small chicken drumsticks or fish sticks or meatloaf and a few tablespoons of vegetable. Usually string beans. I was only allowed bananas , plum tomatoes and cucumber or apples for snacking . We had no sugar or treats or cookies because my mother could not afford them. I was 10 pounds underweight until i hit 16 yrs old and my father started sending us more money. Although my childhood diet had cheap cold cuts and corn oil it didnt have sugar or junk food nor soda. . So my brother and I were skinny. Super skinny. People no soda, no sugar no processed foods and that includes cutting out Mayonaise. Eat whole grains , whole Beans and lots of fruits and veggies. Do home cooking..

  6. I thought parasites were the reason for craving sugar? I was a vegan for 9 years, at the end of the day I was pre-diabetic. I've been on many diet pills over the last year and I've lost no weight. I do intermittent fasting and have 1 meal a day. Still not losing weight

  7. What she said is nice, but it look like a kind of advertising for chocolate cookies because when someone like to help people to avoid this kind of food why showing it all the time that everyone like to buy it ? I am sorry but for me it's not matching. And she speak all the time about cookies.

Otherwise maybe it is because she is still addicted and thinking about nothing else. ???actually I not understand.

Why she show the cookie all the time ??

Again: what she says is very very good but I critism only the WAY how it is shown.. It'd sad😢

After minute 12…it become better but ALWAYS showing the cookie 😂😅😢🤪😱😲😲😲😲🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

So for me it is not helpful as I think all the time about these cookies and I see in the comments I am not alone.

It is the same when you want to avoid people thinking about the blue elephant but talk all the time about it.

    Common 😂😅

  8. I totally understand the food noise after eating sweets. It finally dawned on me that if I ate something sweet in the morning I’d crave it until I went to bed in the evening. I believe that sugar in processed foods are as addictive as crack or any other addictive drug.

  9. Hello Dr. Liu! I love beans, but the gas is an issue. Do you have any suggestions on how to stop the gas that's created from consuming this wonderful protein? We still have to work and be in public!! Lol
Love your show and information. Thank you so much!!!!

  10. Thank you for your compassionate enlightenments 💚💛 Can you just consume ordinary baked beans for these health benefits please? 💚💑💛💚

  11. I’m still wondering where we can get beans in glass jars? And what kind of beans do you eat? Several different varieties? How do you prepare them? I’d like for you to go in a little deeper with that please

  12. Do helpful I have swapped junk foods for organic porridge oats I add prunes walnuts and olive oil this is my treat ,I pretend it's a cake ,I will buy beans which ones are best?

  13. I like the way you’re showing visually a amount of sugar we should have in our bloodstream however, the sugar cube you are using is succeeding the weight of the cookie, I believe.

  14. Thank you, I always knew that I had a problem with junk foods and this video helps understand that I was addicted. When I cut junk foods of my diet, I struggled hard. I had to explain to my loved ones that I can't eat it because I snowball once I start. I think they thought I was crazy or being dramatic but I feel that a lot of people probably stuggle with same problem and don't know how to label it. I use to eat the junk foods in secret or quickly binge on foods that I know are not good for me because I didn't want to feel guilty for eating them. I definetly still have a problem with junk foods but I have learned to eat a better balance diet and I try to gravitate towards fruits or dark chocolate when I get cravings. I take a day at a time and I try my best not to feel like the world is coming down when I do endulge in sweets and learned that if I make the right healthy choices 90% of the time that my overall health will be just fine. I credit Dr. Liu for all her amazing videos that teach us everyday how to become better at choosing what we eat.

  15. I am so off the keto/carnivore diet! I am on a HAPPY diet called whole food plant based and I am LOVING it! No weight loss but I dont care, I am HAPPY!

  16. Big problem. I HATE beans. Any kind of beans, but especially refried beans. I just cannot eat them. I am totally like you describe yourself. I am a carbohydrate attic.
