  1. 60 year-old post-menopause here. I’m doing a keto/low-carb approach. I’m six weeks in with much success.
—fat loss, (belly fat mostly), muscle and joints pain relieved and my mood is much more improved. However, although I do eat a good amount of leafy greens, asparagus, and some berries, I needed to implement more fiber into my diet and just recently discovered basil seeds. I’m using them instead of Chia seeds in a pudding and a small amount of wild blueberries and I love it.

  2. Focusing on getting at least 35g fiber every day and 120g protein. So important for weight loss, heart and colon health and especially hormone balance!

  3. The scale stalled for me and I started to increase my calories which scared me but had to just trust the science. The one thing that I did differently was sequence. I eat my fiber first for every meal and I do it before hand so it has time to reach my stomach and do the magic. The scale moved. And now its been a loss every day. I did bloat and the first 2 days I felt over full but I was patient. It resolved itself and I felt all the benefits.

  4. 17:30 – OMG, this. "I'm eating more fiber, I'm eating healthier. Why am I backed up and why is the scale going up 😭" that in conjunction with intermittent fasting which can also back you up… Yeah.

  5. Yes!! definitely listen to her sound advice. As a 59 year old female in post menopause, the gift of hormones keep on giving. Just saying 🙂 Was on Keto for 2 years along with IF & prolonged fasting lost 30 lbs BUT, my cholesterol went through the roof with an ApoB of 163 over all Cholesterol 321, zero plague on CT scan. Lack of fiber, low carbs & saturated fat (butter, cream, cheese) sent my numbers over the top with a doctor breathing down my back trigger happy with statins. Went on Mediterranean Food Plan & building in 25-30 grams a fiber a day. We shall see, cause conventional medicine loves to push the drugs.

  6. I have IBS and Adenomysis, I cannot do a high fibre diet, or even a moderate amount of fibre. I’m bloated, tired, headaches, hives and just don’t feel good at all. I’m 46, on HRT for the last year which has improved my mood, night sweats etc. Testosterone started about 6 weeks ago which has really helped my energy levels. I’d love to eat more fruit and vegetables but they just don’t like me! I can handle some blueberries or raspberries in overnight oats, potatoes and green beans 😢

  7. BEEF BUTTER BACON EGGS SAVED MY LIFE LOST205 LBS REVERSED TYPE2 DIABETES A1C IS NOW 5.4 RESTORED MY EYESIGHT NO LONGER SLEEP APNEA 65YO MALE 2MAD NO FRUIT NO VEGGIES NO SNACKING NO CARBS NO SWEETS

  8. Thanks for the video.

It takes alot of effort to get these out there, cant satisfy everyone.

I was fasting 14 – 16 hours daily, break it with 2 poached eggs, avo and 1 piece of toast, no butter.
Then my next meal was at 5.30pm, healthy and homemade, meat n veg.

I never lost weight, if I did slightly, it just came back.

I started eating Red Tractor Oats with Chia and instead of the eggs, and have been losing consistently, no wait gain.

Were all different so one thing doesnt fit all.

    Give the girl a break..

Nice info, so what you read it. I would struggle getting all that info out.

Good job and dont stop the good work 😊

  9. Eating beans or lentils three times a day and lost 14 lbs in 12 weeks, I have reached my goal weight .I feel full all day, and never even think to snack. I also have been plant based for 15 years, and was vegetarian for 15 years before I went plant based. I eat flax seed, avocado, fruit, and lots of veggies , potatoes and sweet potatoe, I make a shake with white beans, flax seed, two dates, almond milk, and frozen bananas, it is so delicious and you can’t even taste the beans, but it makes the smoothies so creamy

  10. This is definitely something I can finally agree with. I notice when I eat colorful salads, my waistline is in check as well as my digestion. I have no gallbladder, so I need all the help i can get. The problem is that groceries have gotten so expensive and having fresh veggies on hand all the time is not easy to do. And what about winter time when many summer veggies are not in season? What are we to eat to keep the weight off?

  11. This is so true, I have increased my fiber and the scale is tipping. My fiber is mainly from beans (garbanzo, pintos), chia, avocado, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, nuts, oranges, apples. I eat whole foods 90 percent of the time.

  12. Low carb, higher fat, sufficient protein diet with low fiber is less inflammatory for a lot of people and your body produces GLP-1 and resets satiety hormones . Fiber is not as necessary in this diet. I enjoy your content 😀

  13. I'm going to try the Ray Peat suggestion of boiled white button mushrooms and shredded raw carrot salad. Plus cruciferous veggies and broccoli sprouts, and leeks. I like beans, but my blood sugar does. Lentils are the safest for me

  14. Hmmm, maybe that’s what happened to me when I made the most delicious lentil kale soup! I inhaled it!! A day or two later the exact same symptoms you describe after your white bean chili! THE PAIN!! It was so scary! I still have 4-bowls of it in the freezer and was going to offer them to someone after swearing off lentils… but maybe I’ll try one with no other fiber that day just to see🤔 Wishing myself luck; I’m salivating thinking about it😂😂

  15. For #4 – Purpose. The example you gave of you and your spouse makes it seem as your purpose has to always be done together. I don’t think this is so. Did I understand you incorrectly?
