  1. My problem is that after losing 60lbs primarily with cycling (and diet), I still want to lose 20 or so more, and despite maintaining the same diet and cycling up to 300km a week, I just can't shed the last pounds. I'm sure that I'm putting on muscle so that shows up on the scale, but it's become just so hard to lose the last bit of fat. It's been about a year of a plateau now.

  2. I've lost two stone fairly quickly.
Dieting and regaining my love for cycling… however, im stuck on the same weight now for a couple of weeks.
I want to lose another stone.
Ive been lucky enough to book two months in lanzarote (January,February)
Purly to cycle, exercise and regain my love of the bike.
I just need to adjust my diet to shed this othe stone.
Thanks for the video & tips.

  3. Yeah start cycling which immediately makes you hated by everyone your friends never call you and so you never get to go out to eat or get invited to peoples parties because you are a cycling bore nah there must be better ways like joining a swimming club

  4. lost 100 pounds: my tips 1. never give up 2. figure 2-4 weeks for your body to stop complaining (screaming at you) 3. go daily with recovery every so often for the aches and pains to repair. 4. buy a seat that doesnt hurt. 5. if anus and butt cheeks cry, try creams and lotions before ride. I used Bag Balm of all things and it worked. If you get a sore on your butt use Neosporin with pain killer, or similar, take a day or two recovery for sores. if penis and balls get squished, use bag balm or shammy cream on them, find a better seat, adjust it for pressure on sit bones, not your willy and the boys.

  5. Zone 2 60km max every other day. Keep eating but lose the alcohol and up your proteines. 100pct you will melt the fat off. Consistancy and no exhaustion is key. That and some sound food habits like veggies and not too many naked carbs.

  6. Could you please ask your fellow imaginary peleton riders to give me a wide berth rather than " draughting" me. I do not appreciate the intrusion and don't wish to inhale their breath. Thank you.

  7. Well I felt homesick. With all the troubles in the country you reminded me that there are plenty of good people there quietly enjoying life. Best wishes from Portugal.

  8. Stay off sugary drink you say to loose weight. Well that’s what’s in most bike drinks. I figured it out and able to loose 5 lbs so far in 2 weeks. I make my own drink consisting of unsweetened Vitargo and I only do 1/2 scoop which is about 15-17 gms carbs , lemon juice, 1/4 tsp of sea salt. This is for a 100 minute ride. Vitargo is a superstarch . And I feel great during the ride and after. Women should not go on a morning ride fasted. I eat cottage cheese, honey and grain free granola for breakfast. One thing I changed was not going over 15 gms carbs with each meal I eat. It’s a game changer
