  1. Everyone's different but when I was doing a serious fast for lent I was constantly and consistently cold. I learned that I was likely missing some potassium and magnesium. That fixed me up immediately. It's probably why Mario also never feels cold

  2. One thing I've noticed when I'm losing weight is that I get a bigger craving for "healthier" food. A piece of meat, grilled chicken, meatloaf, eggs, etc. Rarely pizza,or candy. even if a slice or two slips down, it's more substantial food that my body says it wants. proteins and good fats

  3. This is true, but in my opinion and experience, it's only true when you're unfamiliar with the process or when it's your first time trying a calorie deficit. Once you're familiar with it, you won't necessarily notice these effects, and it's much easier to manage.

  4. As someone starting to lose weight after an entire childhood of morbid obesity, it's just so fucking weird to see definition and sharp edges on my body now that the 1 inch thick padding is going away.
Yesterday I was flexing and relaxing my forearm for like 2 minutes straight because I realized I could SEE MY WRIST TENDONS NOW.
Same thing with my ankles, I was aggressively feeling my ankles like two or three months ago due to the fact that the bony parts are visible

  5. i swear, regardless of how much or how little i eat, my body has no sense of NEAT, it's just constantly stone still at any size or lifestyle. i have no choice but to consciously exercise regularly or else i barely move.

  6. I feel small compared to other people, I'm 5' 10'' and 12.5 stone. Body fat my opinion is between 15% and 17%. I food shop and the attraction of chocolate is hard to resist but I've kept away from it.

  7. I was inbarresed to weigh from my start I went by clothing and the days I ate less .And going on my third year in 12 plus from 18 plus and on a good natural habbits as walking 6 days a week and less crap food more fruit vegs and I do better some days but as I keep modifying it and make changes it move down every month a little as the me changing my habbits as being 62 short and flexilated my weight all my life and most my life obesed to some degree.

  8. This is the first time I've ever tried to lose weight but counting calories instead of just "eating healthier" (which has surprisingly worked before). I'm down 18 pounds on average across 10 weeks. Occasionally adding a walk or a light lifting session.
