  1. If you enjoyed this episode consider sharing with a loved one, this is one of those conversations that needs to reach as many people as possible.

Also, if you could do me a favour and check you’ve subscribed 🙏🏾 that’s the simple and easy way to help us bring you more of these conversations , appreciate you all 👊🏾

  2. Here is a starting base simplified. We are all going to loose bone as we age. We must avoid all excuses and strength train with progressive overloading. This is a fact. Pilates will not do it. Yoga will not to it but Pilates and Yoga have an essential place to. So everyone should invest in learning proper weight lifting techniques and DO IT. I am a trainer and I have been lifting weights since I was in my early twenties.

  3. So, at 1:21:45, there are Statistically, 79% of stay-at-home caregivers are women and 21% are Men. So it would make sense that women have a higher chance of the Stress of managing being at home, caring, and also trying to possibly make money at home to provide for their family. This is why it is so important for women and men to take care of themselves, overall. Physically, mentally, because the stress we endure now is more psychological stressors, whereas 100 years ago it was more of survival/physical stressors. It's pretty damn interesting. And if our world as we know it drastically changes, we would be having to switch from those psychological stressors to survival stressors… I feel that both stressors are not great, but with survival stressors there are ups and downs, more time to regulate in between, but nowadays the stressors we face are constant and unrelenting. There is little to no time for our bodies overall to recover chemically, thus affecting us physically. Unless we take care of ourselves, we really risk our nervous system, immune system, and brain suffering as a result, creating more opportunity for disease. Really Damn interesting. <3

  4. I never wacht a video on youtube outside of my house. This is the first one. Started on the tube and couldn't switch off. Now at home I am still here! Bravo! Very very very needed stuff❤

  5. At around 1:20:00 she mentions how we're not reading and storytelling and just being on our phones apparently doesn't do that (I know reading is better always, and I do read too) but what about audio books or watching interviews like this. Cause I'm, more often then not, always watching educational stuff like this which has me constantly thinking about interesting topics and gaining new knowledge and then bringing these topics up with my friends and spreading the knowledge to them. That's story telling too right?
It's through a video but I'm watching people talk so that's gotta build some sort of neuropathways too, right ?

  6. I disagree with the message of "It's not your fault." It's not that it isn't at all true but, if you completely remove any shame about the issue at all, you also remove all motivation to fix it and give people excuses to not do anything. That language is not as helpful as people think it is. Too much shame is debilitating. No shame at all is demotivating.

  7. I love this kind of table conversation steven
Can you also do fasting and cancer topics table conversation steven is that possible?
Thank you for your videos they are really interesting to watch
    Thank you alot❤❤❤

  9. 1. Can I give estrogen to my mum who has osteoarthritis and is of 53, coz estrogen plays such significant role in retaining bones/not chipping away bones? 2. She had her uterus removed about 10 years ago so how does that impact her menopause timeline? Do women still have certain level of estrogen even if their ovaries and uterus are removed earlier than menopause age? @TheDiaryOfACEO

  10. I wonder why they didn't discuss post partum. Most sleep deprived, huge hormonal changes, both physical and psychological stress, ect.. would love to see the post partum period included in the conversation

  11. I loved the podcast, but I don't agree about the juice fast. Did any of those woman even tried to do a juice fast? There is so many people that healed on a juice fast and had extraordinary experiences. So to look at it just from chemical perspective without having a personal experience is like giving advice how to loose wight while yourself being overweight. Giving advices on something you did do yourself its only a book talk.

  12. I'm a registered nurse and I've been using the Walle analogy to describe Americans for close to 10 years. I love that Stacy and I are on the same wavelength. Great show Steven! These ladies are fabulous, and I'm so thankful they are sharing their wealth of knowledge with the world.

  13. I had a right necrotic hip replaced in 2016 at age 68. I did not fall and the MD could not a reason for the necrosis. Now I am 78 and have full function and very good range of motion. Not every dies within a year or has disability. Please stop the negativity and also provide clear guidelines applicable to women.

  14. It would be so great to have these women back and do a zero to menopause life cycle of how to live and raise/support/educate our daughters to achieve this. Like from pregnancy through puberty and then again through pregnancy and postpartum and on to menopause.
Additionally the sleep thing, if women have so many factors working against them in this area, let's get more specific on sleep for women.
Ex) I already do so many of the things mentioned and I still wake up, even currently with a baby who sleeps through the night. Additionally, if nothing matters more than sleep, what CAN women do in the face of low/poor sleep.

  15. This is a really interesting and informative conversation. Especially about building muscles. I would love to add that when all these are combined with personalised programs like the type I see AlterMe do, it goes a long way on our health.

  16. I absolutely loved listening to all these women together! Thank you so much for this video! I am 63 and have been following these amazing women for years! They are keeping me strong!!! ❤
