  1. There is also Part 1 to the Gut Health series! There we dive into Gut health's relationship with weight loss, the mind and immune system! A great place to start for those wanting to understand the gut better! Hope that helps ⭐

  2. I am DETERMINED to improve mine and my toddlers' gut health. My toddler son has terrible eczema that cracks, weeps, and bleeds. His doctor continues to prescribe topical steroid cream. One of his eczema patches recently got infected, so now he is taking an oral antibiotic and oral steroid. I feel so guilty for putting these things in my son's body. I am going to make a dietary commitment TODAY to prevent the need for future antibiotics. All of my research points to gut health being directly linked to eczema outbreaks, too. America, we have to do better for ourselves and our children!

  3. A big thank you for this amazing video. Incredible content but also the way you presented it was so engaging, entertaining, and gentle. Many thanks. I have shared this with all my friends because the content is that important. A healthy gut microbiota changed my life, and all the advice you gave in this clip leads to incredible gut health and also super human health.

  4. ‼️Please don’t take the phrase ‘antibiotics hurt your gut’ to mean that you should never use antibiotics. When antibiotics are prescribed by a doctor, it’s important to take them as directed. Avoiding necessary treatment can lead to serious health complications, and the benefits of treating an infection often outweigh the temporary effects on gut health.‼️

  5. Oh, another thing about a less sterilized environment, find that's true for skin as well. My mother mentioned this from a podcast hosted by biologists and they suggested you don't need to wash as often or with as much soap as you think. So I prioritized rinsing my body just with warm water and only using soap on high bacteria areas (butt, armpits, folds, ect.), moisturized with oils, and exfoliated with salt mixed with something like whipped coconut oil or shea butter, I found my overall body odor improved. It was bothering me so much I couldn't get odor to go away no matter how much soap I used, and the answer was just using less of it

  6. Did you seriously just tell people to not take antibiotics? They can reduce the amount of good bacteria in your stomach, but that is so much of a better alternative to being dead, its crazy.

  7. After 26 my gut became really hard to manage. Idk why. Eating kimchi and lots of different types of fiber helped me immensely. If you're having problems with constipation I also highly recommend taking a fiber supplement like metamucil(Psylium husk).

  8. Fasting. Just fast for 24 hours a week, or twice a week. Or 36 hours a week, or even 48 hours a week. It’ll do wonders not only to your gut but to your overall well being.

  9. My mom likes to clean with bleach. Always. Without. Gloves. And sometimes cleaning a closed bathroom without ventilation.

Im with my dad on the couch rn and he is watching a vid sayinginf Soy and corn are inflammatory 😬. Always protein, fiber and fermented foods are good.

  10. Didn’t expect gut health to impact cravings this much. When I worked on mine, my hunger became way more stable and random cravings reduced. Has anyone else experienced this shift or found something that helped?

  11. amazing!! I love hoy you explain such complex health topics into tangible simple and clear bites!! I personally am a nutritionist specialized in gut health and eating disorders so I highly appreaciate creative people like you sharing online the truth about health and wellbeing!!

  12. Point #6 is arguably the most important one on this list! Most people focus 99% of their energy on "what" to eat (the MACs, the probiotics), but they ignore the "biological state" of their body during the meal.
If your nervous system is in 'Fight or Flight' because of stress, anger, or even just scrolling through your phone, your Vagus Nerve essentially locks the gates to your digestive tract. You can eat the most expensive organic sauerkraut, but without proper vagal tone, that food just sits there, ferments, and causes massive bloating (The Bucket Theory).
I’ve found that the missing link for many is a "Pre-Meal Protocol." Taking just 30 seconds to do an Audio Reset (like humming or deep rhythmic breathing) before the first bite manually flips the switch to 'Rest and Digest.' It’s about shifting from "Loud Eating" (high friction) to "Silent Eating" to give the gut's "Cleaning Crew" (the MMC) a chance to actually do its job overnight.
Healing isn't just about adding more 'tourists' (probiotics); it's about creating an environment where they can actually survive!

  13. Tbh I've seen this video on my recommended but totally dismissed it as some influencer pushing a pseudo-science agenda BUT this was so informative, fun (I looove your editing style) and downright pleasant. I'm subscribing
