Morning ROUTINE That MELTS BELLY FAT If You’re Over 40
If you’re over 40 and your belly fat feels “stuck,” you’re not imagining it—and it’s not just about willpower. After 40, changes in muscle, stress hormones, sleep, and insulin sensitivity can make fat storage around the midsection more likely. That’s why in this #FatLossAfter40 video, I’m giving you a simple 20-minute morning routine that sends your body the right metabolic signals—#NoCardioRequired.

In today’s #MorningRoutine, you’ll learn how to stack the most powerful “belly-fat signals” in the right order—starting with calming your nervous system (#StressHormones), then activating muscle with an 8-minute strength snack (#StrengthTraining), adding easy movement that doesn’t spike stress (#NEAT), and using smart caffeine timing (#Cortisol) to avoid the crash-and-crave cycle. You’ll also get my simple “Anchor + Buffer” first-meal strategy to support appetite control and stable energy (#InsulinResistance), plus a quick discussion of creatine for healthy aging and muscle support (#HealthyAging).

✅ What you’ll learn in this #MetabolicHealth episode:
• Why belly fat is “stickier” after 40 (#HormoneHealth)
• A 2-minute breathing reset to reduce stress chemistry (#NervousSystem)
• An 8-minute strength snack routine that protects muscle (#Muscle)
• 5 minutes of easy movement to improve daily glucose handling (#BloodSugar)
• Caffeine timing tips that can reduce cravings later (#Energy)
• A simple first-meal framework that supports fat loss (#Nutrition)

🔥 7-Day Challenge (#Consistency):
Try this routine for 7 mornings and track: waistline (1–2x), energy, cravings, and sleep. Then come back and tell me what changed.

  1. Interesting. I'll see how I can adjust some of this, because I'm OMAD carnivore.

I am having trouble telling how much of my belly is fat and how much is loose skin. I've lost a lot of weight over the past 4 years. Some of it might still be fat. I guess the gentle exercise type activity would be best for me. And delay coffee if I can.

  2. Thank you for this! After I turned 50 everything changed and I’m learning how to live in this stage, this was helpful and it seems small changes like this are beneficial!

  3. Thank you Doc! I needed to hear this on my weight loss journey. Fit through my 20s and 30s but injury at 40 stopped my work outs and during all that time I was a primary caregiver to a loved one with MS and stress was high. The pub became the place of solace. That is over now and I’ve been on a new journey.

  4. For me the belly fat only went away when i incorporated running with my wieght training. For me eat less work out more helped. Stuck with chicken and rice . Supplements helped. Now i get whole chicken instead of pre cut and packaged. Risk factors go down when you eat whole chicken .

  5. With all the due respect Sir, it´s clearly noticeable that your are reading a Ai script, nothing against reading a script, but it should sound more human (less Ai) , otherwise the people can just ask their Ai, you lost me in Minute 3:10 with this weird 40/10 seconds ……
My tip is, search an Ai script and just use bullet point for the script and every bullit point winging it, that more authentic and shouldn't be a problem, because you know your topics!
You a friendly critic, don't get me wrong!

  6. You seem like a nice guy and appear to have the credentials, but your video title’s claim to target belly fat knowing that there is not a way to choose where the body burns fat is misleading. It’s also very unusual for an MD to promote a carnivore lifestyle.

  7. For the evening, if you're eating a big dinner, go for a walk 10 minutes after eating. A short walk can improve digestion and burn some calories. Don't just eat then watch tv or go to bed.

  8. I have tried this and it works. Early morning drink a glass of chia seeds that was soaked over night in water. Mix a small amount of ACV. Apple cider vinegar and a pinch of cinnamon. OMAD, One meal a day, if it suits you. Cut carbs or reduce to a very small portion daily. Don't want anything after 7 pm. Meaning get done with dinner before 7pm. No sugar, replace with stevia if you can. It's no rocket science.

  9. For my creatine drink to start my day I mix it with..Water, Creatine, ACV, LMT or Liquid IV sugar free powder, chia seeds, & lime juice. I use a straw to protect my teeth.
For Coffee I use MTC oil and spray a little 0 calorie Oil (avocado, extra Virgin, or coconut oil). Is this good?

  10. Hey Doc, I am a Muslim and we have our daily 5 times prayer and one of the time is the Fajr (morning/first light) prayer. It is a ritual prayer which include certain movements done repetitively, like standing, bowing, sitting and prostrating. And this is done within 5-10 minutes. Would that include as #3 a 5 minute mobility?

  11. Thanks for keeping it simple. I have watched 30 to 50 min videos on other channels and they really have only 15 min of useful information. The rest is just fillers and jokes. Thank you!!

  12. My breakfast is fruit like apples, oranges, bananas, and nuts like walnuts and before breakfast i drink asv with the mother mixed with water one hour before eating is that good im 51 years young

  13. OK2 reasons that I couldn't listen and it's not attention deficit disorder. The first reason is probably clear to most males, The second reason is all of the rambling and clutter. Cause somebody explain to me what he said. Did he say fast did he say drink black coffee did he say exercise for 15 minutes. Whatever it was I'm certain that it did not need to take 1246 seconds

  14. Hey Doc,
Please consider showing video with each position or still picture, then we all can better understand how best to do these exercises.

Again thank you for the very needed health advice,
    So grateful to you.

    Blessing.
