  1. Am 29 years old and am 5’6 and 69 kg like 152lbs I was at 1100 calories i ll try to be 1600 to 1510 to lose half a pound a week and to hit 2 kg per month I ll keep u guys updated 😮

  2. I try not to chase a number on a scale. I have been going at it for 10 weeks now. I eat supper about 6-6:30 p.m. and don't eat at all until noon the next day. My meal then is typically an 8-oz steak or a few oz, 4 eggs, and a scoop of cottage cheese. Sometimes I will eat an apple after. Nothing to eat after 8 pm nothing before noon I sometimes wait even longer. I have dropped 15 to 20 lbs in the 10 weeks

  3. I am starting to think that as well as listening in to us the robot overlords have telepathy – I was just wondering what had happened to Frumpy and up pops this vid.

I know that some problems had arisen that caused her to back away from doing such a demanding 'hustle' – I'm guessing that that break turned into something longer 🙁

  4. why is it so difficult just to find the formula, where you put in your age, weight, height, etc.? I have wasted a huge amount of time searching the internet, watching 8-10 minute long (each) youtube videos and still can't find the simple formula. I used to be able to find the formula easily. if ANYONE can just give me a link to the simple formula I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

  5. People in the comment section are getting happy that they can eat more calories then they were previously eating and here I am, I was eating 1300 Calories per day as per my app recommendation and according to this calculation I should eat 1000 calories to lose 1ibs per week. Is that healthy? I have listened that any diet plan under 1200 calories is unhealthy.

  6. My TEE is around 3445. My BMR is at about 2231. I thought a deficit was in relation to your BMR and thought that was a way too low number. However, my recommended calorie intake is 2431-2531 and I was trying to figure out how it was a deficit. The deficit is in relation to the TEE not the BMR. I am very active. 1 hr treadmill every morning. Weights at least 5 times a week. I also Ref a substantial amount of Hockey and have no clue how many calories I burn during one hockey game. I usually do back to back games and sometimes 3 in a row and then go the the Gym for weights. Oh yeah, Im going to be 55 years old next month. Im currently weighing 210 and the scan said 10.5% Total Body Fat percentage, but I still feel fat and have a subcontaneous fat mass that is noticeable to me around the lower belly.

  7. I either calculated the numbers wrong, or there's something wrong with me.
If I eat 2,200 calories a day, I'll be gaining weight at light sleed, not maintaining my weight :,)

  8. My BMR is 1,456
    My TDEE is 2,111
To lose 0.5lb of fat per week I need to be in a -250cal deficit which would be 1,861cal
To lose 1lb of fat per week I would need to be in a -500cal deficit which would be 1,611cal
So, my question is , do I then subtract my BMR (1,456) from my Deficit (1,861) = 405cal
Would that number be the amount of calories I need to burn/ exceed to lose fat ?

  9. I dont want to sound stupid but here goes lol.
my BMR is 3074, so if i -250 twice, that puts me at 2573. So i need to eat no more than 2500ish if i want to lose? im 5'10, 187lbs 33 years old. Im in the gym 4-6 days a week weight training, i get 8k-12k steps a day. I guess my confusion lies in the calories actually burned. I want to make sure i stay in a deficit but sometimes it confuses me.

  10. This is not the best approach. Jane at 5.5 and 150lbs is technically slightly over her ideal weight range. Her ideal weight is 125Lbs. All her macros should be calculated with that ai m in mind. For such she requires 1560 Calories. A TDEE of 2100 is way to high for her and is not helpful stating that as her reference range. That is the reference range for a 5'11 male. for her ideal weight of 125 LBs, a decent macro split is 125g Protein, 125g Carbs, 65g Fats. Aiming for this is what her average daily consumption should be for balance in weight.

  11. How are we still stumbling around with the wool over our eyes, rambling about calories? The hormonal model throws the idea that a calorie is a calorie right out the window. Every ingredient, every micro and macro, even the order of your meals all have various effects on your hormones, your microbiome, your organs, etc.
For instance: 2 studies demonstrated *"Food order has significant impact on postprandial glucose & insulin levels"*, even between the same exact isocaloric meals. Veggies & protein first = 36.7% less 60minute postprandial glucose rise, and 73% less time under the curve! The other study showed 40% difference vs carbs first!

Study set #2: *"Effects of physical form of diet on body composition"*; simply turning 2 different types of feed for mice into powders caused them to gain 85% more fat-body mass ratio, and DOUBLED (200% ^) abdominal adipose, by eating just 11% more… likely because they were hungrier. Think of processed carbs like cereal, crackers, pancakes, pasta, bread, muffins, bagels, etc.

  12. I used to have an ed and barely ate 1000 cals a day. I really wanted to lose weight and gain muscle, despite the extreme deficit I barely lost any weight. I came across this video and found out I can eat 1500cals when trying to lose weight. I tried eating that today but I feel as if it's too many calories, I'm afraid to gain weight and am feeling extremely bloated…any tips?

  13. so you're telling me i have to eat 2000 calories a day and not 900? oh boy, it will be a big work to explain it to my brain to eat more
