Also dealing with upper arm fat? Find out how to get rid of it here:

Our bodies have evolved to store body fat around the midsection as a survival mechanism. There are 9 times more receptors for fat storage than fat burning in this area. Adrenaline helps activate the fat-burning process, which can help shift the body from storing belly fat to burning it.

High insulin levels can prevent you from losing belly fat. Fasting for 20 hours a day can help lower insulin to your baseline. A HIIT workout during your fast can significantly increase adrenaline to boost belly fat loss. Weight training combined with HIIT can stimulate even more adrenaline.

To reduce visceral fat, it’s critical to lower insulin, which is why 20-hour fasting can be a powerful way to stimulate visceral fat loss.

There are also more cortisol receptors around the midsection than in other areas of the body, so chronic stress could be another reason you’re having trouble losing belly fat. Adequate sleep, sunlight exposure, and avoiding food for three hours before bed are also important for losing belly fat.

If you want to lose belly fat, it’s vital to avoid industrial palm oil, seed oils, sugar, and starches.

olive oil, garlic & green superfoods
    called Green Vibrance
    daily & staying very regular.
As well as doing deep breathing
exercises. We all need to RELAX
& BREATHE more & stop HOLDING our breath. ❤🌏

  2. Ancient people use to fast bc they ate what they killed
There wasn’t a food industry back in those days
Modern humans over eat bc of direct access that is granted to individuals nowadays

  3. Hallo Dr. Berg, thank you for the excellent advice. I was wondering.. after 18 hours of fasting I feel very cold, have low mood, I am not so energetic and simply very hungry. How do you or other people force yourself to make HIIT?
    Thank you in advance.
    Monika

  4. No lard as it's high in saturated fat. Organic red palm oil, perilla seed oil, black sesame seed oil, extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, flaxseed oil and black (cumin) seed oil are the best choices.

  5. Buy a rebounder and work your way up to sprint intervals. Then hop off and do some squat presses, then get back on and do a few more sprint intervals. 20 minutes 3-5x a week will do amazing things. I’m obsessed with rebounding and it’s fun.

  6. Im a woman over 40 In perimenopause. I was told that long fasting raises cortisol hormones in some women in their 30s and 40s due to hormonal changes. I also get anxiety, low mood, fatigue sometimes depression when I fast or go low carb too long

  7. I LOVE YOU DR BERG! I LIVE IN FLORIDA AND I HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU FOR SO MANY YEARS. I SHARED TOUR CHANNEL TO SO MANY PEOPLE. I HAVE USED TOUR REMEDIES A LOT. I WATCHED YOUR VIDEO WHERE YOU MENTION ABOUT USING FENUGREEK AND MY HUSBAND DID AND I GOT PREGNANT. 🇺🇸 🇯🇲

  8. You forgot one of the biggest factor. Genetics.

Also, alcohol and smoking. Alcohol slows your metabolism. Smoking deprives your body of oxygen needed for the energy to burn fat
