Are you on it for life?- video here….
If you are overweight and feel the way you eat is problematic in itself- there are eating disorders that cause obesity- and trying to diet your weight out of them can be counter productive and extremely unpleasant. Whilst you might feel desperate to lose the weight- and like happiness is just at the end of that- the benefits to overcoming an eating disorder can be just as like changing on their own- in fact much more so. It can be hard to speak to a doctor about eating disorders when you are overweight but don’t be afraid to do it- and start some research at

GLP1s
There’s a lot of negativity around GLP1s and for much of this is due to the way that society views being overweight- as a weakness and lack of discipline. Most doctors have next to no training in weight loss and obesity (other than the impact of it) and it is amongst medical colleagues that I’ve seen some of the most illogical objections- though from a medicinal point of view I can see why medics can be reluctant to prescribe…. next video….
If you were to view it as a disease- which obesity is- then they are no more or less acceptable than medication for blood pressure. But as with all things they are not right for everyone. There are people who struggle with their weight as they don’t understand diet and exercise and for these people giving a GLP1 may make a difference but may not address the underling issue- unless it is worked on alongside. However, given the risk of the medications a discussion around whether or not it is first best to try without and see what happens would be important.
They have been prescribed for 20 years- so whilst the longer term data is not available- there is more than most think.
Many doctors do not have not been trained in diet and nutrition- many are completely unaware that being overweight can be due to anything other than ignorance of diet and exercise- but there are also some great ones out there…. so if you meet a bad one – know it’s them and not you.

I have been on Zepbound now for 6 weeks now and have lost nearly 20 pounds and I totally agree with you, I feel great, so great! I'm happy and just great! Not sure why I feel like this, but I have such mental clarity it's unreal. I am on 2.5 dose as well and have very little symptoms. Thanks for your video, I realize how I feel isn't normal, I do wonder if this how everyone else feels when they are not so hungry all the time but but I'm going to ride this out as much as I can.
I've never heard anyone say that about breakfast, but it is absolutely me! If I eat breakfast it turns me into an eating machine for the whole day. I've always struggled with satiety even after a large meal also. M has made a huge difference to that for me. I'm still on 2.5mg after 10 weeks and have lost 20lbs. Then gastric s/e were hardest for me, so I started split dosing as I couldn't cope with any more nights being woken up by acid reflux. Split dosing has solved that for me, so now I literally have no s/e but still have great suppression. Food noise is also gone, which has been a huge relief. I have 4 metabolic diseases, so I am planning to stay on it at low dose for the rest of my life. One thing it hasn't taken away is the desire to eat after eating. So if I don't eat all day I won't be hungry, at all, but as soon as I eat something, including a full meal, I want more, usually something sweet. What I have learned since being on the meds is to wait and see if I feel hungry in 20 minutes. I generally forget about it then.
I’m 6 weeks into my journey on Mounjaro. My daughter was taking it to shed the last lbs after her first baby and she said that I should try it. I am 75 fit(ish) and weighed 123kg. Wow I’m so glad she introduced me to it. One week into the 2.5mg dose I lost all food noise (I didn’t even know what it was) I went from 10 bottles of wine a week to zero and on week 6 I’ve lost 9kg. I can miss meals no problem but if I eat I have a normal portion. No more snacks and inter meal sandwiches. I’ve now settled down to 0.9kg a week and after watching the YouTube series “Rebuilding Mum & Dad” I’ve signed up with a personal trainer for twice weekly resistance training with weights, squats, dead lifts, bench press and overhead press. It’s definitely working for me and I’ll stay on it for life just to control the alcohol cravings alone.
I feel so much of the same. The unwell feeling, working out so much and being overweight (doing 5ks, lifting, intense ashtanga) and not feeling full but pressure. I love my glp1 and was also the same, I kept thinking, no, I can figure this out, I've got it. And I never got it. Thanks for putting the words behind all this!
This was interesting as I feel so much the same since starting Mounjaro. A switch definitely went on and now I feel amazing and enjoying life more. I have other factors which is why my weightloss journey is slower than yours, so am watching for ideas as I'm losing 1-2 lbs a week.
Deffo feel I have a natural GLP1 issue. I did a hell of a lot of national level sports growing up and less so now. I have to work out so hard to shift weight – diet kind of slides my play a part too much – working out really does alter my appetite … kind of makes it smaller oddly.
What a great video! This was so helpful. I haven't started yet but I hope that I get that feeling too. Congrats!
Brilliant
Damn she talks alot
Bravo!!!
In what video can I find you talking about the ADHD symptoms that look like ADHD but is not ADHD?? 😅
The way you described that fuzzy headed irritability that only goes away with eating is so spot on for me! As well as never feeling full…only like my trousers are getting uncomfortably tight!
most people look older when they lose weight, you look much younger now
Wow, you have a unique view on weight loss and tell your story well. I had to put it on 75% to take it in.
Hey I hear you talking about "eating to feel normal", and having the general feeling of wellness that you usually have to work for effortlessly after starting medication. I relate to that, I am having that experience right now and I can't explain it, I don't know why it's like that. This is the first time I've ever heard someone else talk about it. I'm also one of those people that is just always hungry as a normal baseline.
🙌🙏 it’s so awful trying hard to lose weight and struggle – you have given me Hope ❤
You sound like me!! (Only i have never had the injections) I think us ND people are not the same, chemically as neurotypicals. We really are not!!
So thrilled that you found ways to feel better. Good on you!!!
I'm on wegovy but i have to say i vibe with literally everything you are saying. Ive not had a single side effect, only positive ones, i feel so much calmer, less agitated, im on a low dose but losing weight rapidly. Im getting far greater satisfaction from eating the foods im supposed to eat and I can finally eat breakfast without it triggering me into all day binging and loss of control. Like you ive lost weight many times but could never maintain becauae hunger makes me feel unwell and agitated.
Hi im on mounjaro and just passed my 3rd month. Ive lost 5.3lgs and am very happy wt it. But ofc ive plateaued. So my doc bumped up ,y dosethis week to 5mg. My starting weight was 82kgs. I would like to get to 65kgs which i think will be ideal for my height 165cm. I hv battled wt weight issues all my life. Asfar as i can remember ive been on diets. Ive exercised sincemy 30s afetr childbirth and nothing worked to stabilise my weight. What made things worse was at 43yo i had a hysterectomy. It was partial butofc my gynae at the time didnt put me on any type of hormone therapy. I balooned from 62kgs to 82 kgs within 2 years. And it has been hard since then. She casually said ofc u will gain cos u had a jysterectomy! No saying why i gained that it was my hormones playing havoc in my body. I "fired" her and moved on and couldnt find any answer cos i honestly didnt want to goon any type of hrt. Finally at age 59 i caved in. I went on bhrt with thehope that by fixing my hormones my weight will go down. It did not. But i felt better for sure. At age 60 plus is when i decided to try a glp1. And i wish they had these drugs not just for diabetes but for weightloss much earlier. I havent felt better. Like you ive had very minor side effects. One of them being constipation. But i just eat tons of fruits now and psyllium husk. I do hv gall stones but i dont wordy abt them. Im living my best life, seeing the scalego down is euphoric! Im a severe asthmatic. Andi hv a persistent cough. Thatahs improved. Im prediabetic and hv high cholesterol. Hoping to reverse that. Overall with fatloss and less weightlife just gets easier. I can do life now without issues. This is the best thing that has happened to me. I refused to hear the white noise aroundme. I did this for me. I hope more pple realise its really life changing. Thank u for your fantastic videos…❤❤❤
I lost 6lb in 4 weeks bloody hell

First time watcher – you do have an addiction and it’s called food addiction- healthy food or not. If you feel hungry from morning to night, and you’re eating, then it’s a food addiction – you love food. You get a “good feeling” from eating and think hungry. You cannot be hungry all day if you are eating. You appear hyper and adhd like and that is an attractive super happy and positive image. You have “nothing tastes like THINNER feels” image – giddy – you look great but still state more to lose and critical of your appearance – you look great.
Will you be able to stop injecting and then what happens ?
If you keep injecting to get “the great feeling” and the weight loss that comes with it then when you stop injecting does the “not good feeling return” – can you keep taking the injection forever and if so do you simply waste away or waist away like a famous Osborne we know.
So I will watch to see earlier and upcoming vids. you made/make. This was a first impression … open to be wrong with more awareness… you are giddy from the feeling the injection gives you and your appearance…. Can you ever stop the injection ?
I experienced exactly the same you did so far. Wow.
You sound like Sagittarius ♐️🤣🤣🤣
Perhaps add GLP1 to title. A little more transparent.
Wow you are not alone. You described my exact experience on glp1. I’ve just started 3 weeks ago but I feel great. I definitely struggled to put into words how I felt so much better, but you got it!! Thank you for speaking about this!
I wish I coulds feel full.
My habits were not as healthy as yours going into this journey, though I had tried a lot of dieting for my whole life and had cut carbs and calories since I was a kid, too, but your experience starting Mounjaro is my exact experience so far and I’m only in week one. I had already been working on my nutrition in a more holistic sense before I started and lost a little bit but the way I felt immediately the morning I woke up after my first dose at night was amazing. I find it so easy to eat the healthy foods I already loved and I plan to start working out this week. It’s amazing to not feel that fatigue and fog all the time!
Why not eat a savoury breakfast? Will keep you full for hours. Sweet breakfasts will set you up for hunger and wanting more and more for the rest of the day – fact
Bipolar people are predisposed to weight gain and inability to lose and what you mentioned about anxiety (mental) turning into physical that’s so true, constantly scared and thinking of needing to eat to feel better (mentally). Horrid feeling
Love this share, you look so radiant, congratulations!
Can relate to everything you say. Weirdly I got a vial of some sort of semagutude and felt exactly like you, felt amazing, brighter. Then got tireziptide but feel absoultely nothing and as far as eating, I can go from evening to lunch and beyond and wouldn't lose an ounce. So kind of lost now. I have pcos and GP gave me metformin for this but scared to take it. Any advice greatly appreciated. It is so so hard.
You gave me a headache 🙂 slow down please
No way this true…
I thought this would be about the exercise or diet, maybe it could be titled why not how.
Just want to say I’m so glad I came across your channel!!! The information is really helpful. I pick up my mounjaro tomorrow. I’m a truck driver so can’t really go to the gym. But I have bought dumbbells and will also walk. As I only get home at the weekend.
Always interesting my experience was after childbirth could loose 10 kilo in one month but like to warn young people, do not do diets it does not work, eat clean, avoid sugar, eat healthy fats, grass fed meat, wild seafoods, chicken, turkey etc beware whether you are gluten or diary sensitive and what ever you choose, choose you, choose to be good enough as you are, choose feeling healthier for you, loosing weight should not be a fight but a happy challenge. My problem is cortisol, ptss and a ruïned theroïd due to diets. Nowadays 71 year still obese, I gained 30 kilo overweight since on theroïd medicine, makes me wonder😊😮😢 so I accept myself as I are, eat clean, avoid snacking and eat healthy raw nuts instead. I walk every day watching the day getting lighter. Love my dog❤ my weight problems started after bully comments about my behind after giving birth to my children😊 Yvonne. Take care, happy holidays, God bless you.
By the way I cook with Ghee and use MCT oil in my green tea and use extra virgin cold pressed olive oil.
I make fresh almond milk for overnight oat with blue berries etc.
Sorry totally unrelated topic- what happened to your journal notebooks? Would have loved to check out website… btw, you look amazing. Been follliwg you for years and years. Love to see you so happy
It is so weird…. I started listening to you and literally every single word could've come from my own mouth.
I started my journey today, finally, and I am really looking forward to seeing success in the end.
I am 5,2 in size and currently weigh 170 lbs. I know that is not 'so bad' but it starts to affect me in a bad way. I am a passionate rider getting too heavy for my horse. I am very conscious about how people look at me when I ride….. It is time!!
Gosh. This is total clickbait. You cheated. What a misleading title. SMH.
Thank you for this video. You are certainly a credible resource which completely switched my thinking. This is a very thoughtful video and appreciated.
You described me exactly! I eat to get rid of the feeling of uneasiness that dieting caused. Never could figure it out. Was it low blood sugar? Was it a drop in blood pressure? All I know is that all of that is gone since I started Zepbound. I feel great! Have lost 5 pounds my first week!
Did you incorporate fasting with your GLP-1 experience? Great video! Thanks for sharing 🎉🎉❤❤
