Body Composition Scale with the best balance of accuracy and price I’ve found on Amazon:

You could be losing dangerous visceral fat around your organs even when the number on your scale isn’t moving. In fact, the scale is a pretty bad metric for tracking visceral fat loss. So if you’ve been working hard, fixing your nutrition, and getting your workouts in, don’t let the scale decide whether you keep going. Instead, I want you to watch for these eight early signs to let you know you’re moving in the right direction

  1. I barely lost 8 pounds in about 5 months but improved my fasting insulin and noticed my stomach was flatter and had a lot of room in the back part of my pants. I kept with my healthy habits and lost 8 pounds in 1 month and went from a size 6 to 0/2. The crazy thing is my A1C has not budged in a whole year. Oh and my waist went from 32 inches to 27

  2. When you said visceral fat and sympathetic nervous system activation are linked I was like 0_o No wonder I've been struggling to lose weight while in treatment for OCD and anxiety. Can you do a vid on that stuff soon, or at least in a broader video of the effects of stress on weight?

  3. One of the first things I noticed when I was in the initial drop of weight was that I was sleeping so much better! I have noticed a few more signs so i must be doing well 🤭

  4. Just a few questions I hope someone could answer. If I've been on a combo diet, keto/carnivore, for 7 weeks what signs of weight loss besides a scale should I notice?
After the 8th week I'll be slowly adding in starches and sugar very little and in monitored portions, is that the best move?

  5. Is constipation part of having visceral fat more? 😅 I noticed my belly still bloat despite trying to diet. And everyday I'm walking to the train station, climb stairs but no significant changes 😅

  6. One important thing about the sleep and urination: You should certainly make sure you get enough sleep and water when you try to lose weight. So "sleeping well and peeing often" should be a given!
