In this video, we’re breaking down what Fortune found including membership costs, insurance options, access to healthcare providers, branded GLP-1 medications, and some important RED FLAGS to watch for before choosing an online GLP-1 provider.
One of the biggest takeaways? Convenience isn’t necessarily the same thing as comprehensive medical care.
We’ll also talk about the difference between FDA-approved branded GLP-1 medications and compounded medications, questions you should ask before signing up, and why the cheapest or fastest option may not tell you the whole story.

🦋🩵 Grace Thank you for sharing this info, I maybe using one of these services soon? I will find out sooner than later if my insurance will no longer provide service for me.?😮
Replay Crew❤
Thanks for sharing the options, Greys! 🩷👌✨I’m thankful to be able to have mine covered through insurance but it’s wonderful these options exist as safe options.
Very good info…whatever yall do don’t use trinity. They sent my daughter the wrong dose, wouldn’t correct it and she never got to talk to a doctor. They just shipped it based on what I filled out for her. Back to mochi I go until she gets to higher doses. Then it will be Belle.
Summary according to Fortune magazine: 1. Noom 2. Remedy 3. Shed 4. Ro 5. Hims 6. Mochi 7. Weight Watchers each for a number of different reasons. 💖💉
The GLP1 companies pay to be on the Fortune list
This is good information for people ordering medication on line
kind of wish the video had dug into how much the lab monitoring actually changes dosing over time instead of just listing who offers it tyde wellness ties the lab work into the actual dose titration so adjustments come from results instead of a flat monthly refill
I use JoinBelle. They have great customer service, prices, no membership fees, price of meds dont change with dose and a portal to keep all tracking and info in one place. Easy to message team or doctor if issues. I tell everyone to try them. They even just started a rewards program to help with cost of meds. 😊 very happy with them
This is such great news. If you have health insurance I will say your family physician is the best source if you have an affordable copay option. I've heard good things about Ro as well.
Great info! I go through Ro for my medication and self-pay. But I manage it with my doctor who does my labs and check ins every three months. I do utilize Ro’s monthly check-ins with an RN. Mainly because I like the accountability. I paid for a full year to reduce my monthly subscription rate to $74/month. Shipping is automatic (with refill check-in). I have no issues. I’m very satisfied.
I get mine through my dr and self pay. They won't prescribe compound, but said if I choose to do it, they will still support me. For me, the Zepbound through Eli is high enough. Having to pay a membership would tip the scales for me given they are a few hundred a month, from what I've seen. At the end of the day, I understand why people choose telehealth.
After my second shot I only lost 4-5 lbs hepbound
This was great information. So many things to consider when trying to find great care.
Thanks for bringing this to the community, Greys.
Sure, you can listen to the very reputable Fortune. But what about my boy Reddit, Greys? 😂 I kid, I kid. I love you so much ❤
I’ve used HERS oral… before the Wegovy pill…in2025 and lost 120 lbs until it stopped working for me. After that I moved to injection sema from Rift…didn’t lose any weight. Switched to their tirzepatide and still nothing. I switched to Collective in August and have finally seem some movement. I’m down 14 lbs. Collective is the best Telehealth I’ve used and definitely the best pricing out there. They also have a referral program with code that you save using it and so does the person you got their referral code from. You should review them.
Thanks Grace, What great resource! I was curious about the online providers and how they work. The price for a membership is strange to me. I’m surprised how easy some of them make it to get a Rx. I tried for two years before my doctor would prescribe it for me. No insurance assistance for me so I’ve always used a compound pharmacy.
I go through my Endocrinologist. Pick up name brand single dose injection pen at pharmacy.
Ive looked at those companies, don't think I'd use any of them. I've seen better reviews
I get my Mounjaro thru my medical doctor since I was diabetic. After 6 months my A1c dropped to 5.4🎉🎉🎉 I'm so fearful my insurance will stop my coverage & i still need to lose another 50lbs
My niece went through Ro for branded Wegovy because it was discounted. She had a good experience but over time even the discounted rate was too much for her. It's rough out here when you are not covered. You literally have to fight for your life in order to try & save your life. Ay yi yiiii💉 🤦🏾♀ ✨🪻💜
Wow, this review was super interesting for me.
I definitely think there might be a very different list for people who can't afford branded or mainstream services like noom, ww, etc.
Those who have done their own homework may be looking at telehealth to provide affordable help because $300+ a month is way out of their price range.
And, since no one is saying it, I will.
Last checked for tirzepatide:
AltRX $149/mth, PlexusDX $249/mth, Belle $150-250 depending on plan length and code, Gobi $? (recommended by a reliable influencer)
There's probably more I don't know about.
Also, people with food noise as a primary issue should probably shoot for tirzepatide. It's a bit pricier, but is king if you have the "Call of the Cookie"
Thanks for the great info.
Oh my goodness. I had no idea how things are different for this medication in different countries! I do not have medication / drug coverage. I go to the doctor and don't have to pay out of pocket to see him. He is a medical doctor, my normal doctor for general practice. I go see him every 6 weeks for the Ozempic. So far I have been on it for 10 weeks. My second follow up appointment is in 2 weeks in person at his office. He will be sending me for blood and pee tests at the next visit. I do not pay out of pocket for these tests. . He will email for medication prescription to the pharmacy. I pick it up there and pay out of pocket. It works out to about 70 American dollars for a month supply. I can make an appointment to see him in person or on the phone at anytime for any reason. However, every 6 weeks is required in person. Again, I do not have to "pay" for these visits. I would not feel comfortable using any other type of provider. Very interesting episode thank you.
I've been using Mochi for 3 months now and I have ZERO complaints. It's been fantastic the entire time so far. It was $39 for the membership the first month, and $79 each month since, which is their regular membership fee. The fee covers your visits with your provider, as well as a health coach- and provides you access to not only GLP-1 medications, but many many other prescription medications for anything from hair loss, to women's health, to skincare, to vitamins. You still have to be prescribed them by your provider of course, but it's a nice option if you don't want to have to ask your regular PCP to prescribe something like that for you.
They do accept some insurances, which comes with a major price benefit. Unfortunately my insurance is not accepted so I pay full rate for the membership and my medication. Which is a compounded Tirzepatide, and at the current 5mg dose I'm on, it runs me $119 a month on top of the $79 membership fee. When I titrate up to the next dose, the price will increase to $144. The intro 2.5 dose was $99.
I hope this info helps you, dear reader!
Great video!
I can't wait to read what online companies people are with. I get my Zepbound directly from Eli Lilly because I didn't want to get lucky finding a clean, reputable compounded pharmacy. Plus I found a local clinic and 503A pharmacy in my city when I get to maintenance, which is rare.
Hey Grace 👋😊 Thank you for sharing.
I would be curious the service people are most interested in. Since everyone is doing what they want anyway.
