Amazing interview. Well done 👍 it would have been great to hear Candi’s take on Alcohol, supplements, and dairy like Greek yogurt.
I think the only time that people can handle the fruit in a carnivore diet is if they're working out lifting weights regularly and they are healthy and don't have any health issues
Please can you comment on kidney health and high protein? One can't feel kidney disease, so would not know if kidney damage is going on unless they do blood tests?
No, I still love that you commented. And stick with the big question that nobody wants to follow.
Coffee is a drug.
Thank you Candy
what is wrong with chia pudding made with milk no sugar?
So tired of these "internet influencers " giving half truths. Insulin doesn't inhibit the production of melatonin among other, not so true facts. Just because somebody's husband is diabetic and behaves a certain way, surely does not mean that every person's body reacts the same way.
To make blank statements about dieting or weight loss is inappropriate. In fact you may feel better with high fat, high protein, and moderate carbs. Other people feel better with very low carbs, high protein, and low fat etc. Each person's job is to figure out what works for them. All you have to do is eliminate processed food and sugar.(not talking about fruit), track your calories, so you can see the different percentages of fat carbs and protein, and tweak it until you feel your optimum. Do it for a couple months and you can be the master of your own body and lose weight with a calorie deficit. People can talk about calories don't matter, but in fact they do try it for yourself. And fasting for 2 days a week is ridiculous especially for women.
We are not primal. We are not evolved from monkeys or apes. I cannot stand it when people that promote carnivore use this false narrative. And then they try to charge you $1500 for something that is just common sense. Eat meat, eat eggs, eat sardines and fish and have some fruit for dessert once in a while. Eat Organic when possible. Walk, keep active, do weight training. 66 and slender. It’s not rocket science. Just don’t eat anything that you cannot pronounce.
I'm 100% a coffee addict, but I do wean off once a year for a couple of months and it does work wonders for my body…excellent skin complexion and I release the extra fat I'm holding onto. About to do that wean starting tomorrow so in a few days I'll be off the juice completely 😅
Whenever I eat just meat, I have indigestion. I already have that problem (gerd). I believe carnivore heals indigestion but how do I get past it?
Please, please enable the Polish language—please, please!!!
How does this help with cholesterol? I’m doing low carb and trying to get my cholesterol down as well .
What about polyphenols and Vitamin C? I am post Menopausal and forever struggling to get rid of visceral fat around my belly especially….I am not overweight but I have this annoying few kilo's that I'm really struggling to get rid off…
I think that that extra fat might be necessary to get away from carbs. Eating too much dietary fat will make it take longer for your body to consume its own fat.
Our ancestors only lived to be 40 years old??
Fruit is a sweet as Candy, just like you Candi! I agree, fruit should be eaten with caution, and think of it as a chocolate bar. I throw in a few blueberries in here and there, but I can moderate.
My dog gets almost all meat, probably should be raw meat but my husband and vet are not for it. Hopefully he will live a long healthy life, with teeth that don’t rot.
I understand these concepts; however, my husband and I both got on a “carnivore diet” that ended up hurting our kidneys and resulted with my husband getting gout (high BUN on bloodwork).
We just have to be very careful on what we apply.
I always rely on the Designers manual.
God designed us and He has left us a manual on how to live life optimally – including how we eat. 🥰
Extreme diet = non lasting results
A little bit extreme on fruits… glucose is part of life, the most important question is discipline ans moderation
Are They Bioengineered / GMO?No, there are no genetically modified (GMO) or bioengineered almonds commercially available. The Almond Board of California and commercial producers utilize strictly conventional, traditional agricultural cross-breeding techniques rather than laboratory genetic engineering.
I can't lose weight because all I have is hanging skin. How do I get rid of that? I don't have $15000 to have plastic surgery for my waist and $7000 for hanging skin on my arms and hanging skin on my legs and I don't know how much that would cost. And my sex drive tanked at 19 because my husband was not my love anymore.
More tricks that don't work.
You are what eat. Eat Death… become death… eat life, and live….
You could become a vegetarian and never have an ounce of visceral fat on your body. Eat all the fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, plant based protien you want. And no rectal cancer. Or stomach cancer. Or all the other ghastly cancers caused by eating meat. We must move forward as a society without fueling the meat industry which is hell on earth, and AWFUL for your bodies…. really, how could it be healthy to eat all meat? Think about it sensibly. Our stomach acids, as human beings, aren't even designed to break down meat. Meat rots in your colon for weeks before being released. It leads to disgusting diseases of the colon and intestines. And once you go plant based, you are not longer eating the fear of that animal, and all your anxiety disappears. And your consious becomes clean and light, there is no better feeling.
if she fasts 48 hours 2 days a week, that's 4 days not eating… her sugar will be down no matter what she eats… idk dd i understand it right tho… she only eats 3 days a week, really?
Candi thinks she is an expert on everything health and nutrition related. However, some of her claims are opposite of what other PhDs and MD have claimed. One example is Candi claims coffee is toxic.
I don't believe Candy is or ever was like other women, I don't think she was ever over 200 lbs.
We were told that chia seeds form a jell in your stomach and is very good
Can you be 61 and menopausal still do the program?
Do you also exercise with this? What specificly
I lost 12 lbs in 2 weeks. And now I'm down 15 lbs in less than 1 month. I dont think it should take 6 weeks to lose 16 lbs. I'm not trying to shame anyone. I just don't think that's fast for a carnivore diet. I'm not a strict carnivore either. I'm on a ketovore diet.
Great guest, didnt know her. Hearing her clarified a lot of gaps in my understanding of insulin and weight loss. I wish you had touched on the subject of dairy though
Turn your discernment up to maximum when listening to Candi Frazier. Turn it up to max when listening to anyone for that matter.
Hi Rina
I have just been diagnosed with LADA1.5 type of Diabetes. I have been doing almost Carnivore over 2 years trying to add something to put on weight -added with avocado and now trying zucchini. How can I connect with Tom – I am underweight rather than overweight. I need to figure this out.
I used to work at a coffee shop for 15 years and drank up to 10 to 15 large cups a day and now I only drink maybe 1 medium cup of coffee or cold brew every 3 months.
Even meat is not healthy nowadays. Our ancestors ate wild free roaming animals. Our source comes from caged animals pumped with hormones & antibiotics or fish from fish farms & polluted seas. It’s a loose, loose situation.
People are not fat becasue we are eating too much fruit.
I’m 71 just been diagnosed with type 2 just into it but a huge worry
I’ve always eaten well but I got ill that was it
Thank you so much I understand so much now, it’s changed my mood up I was going so low you’ve given me hope 💖
You do more exercise than most @ your lazy
Thank you so much
I would love to see you interview Stephanie keto person here off of YouTube with the counterargument. She’s pro high fat, lower protein.
This is all very interesting, but what about the theories that meat rots in your gut and causes cancer.
Is it the caffeine in coffee that causes the problem? I drink decaf Bullet Proof coffee or Ryze Mushroom coffee… is this okay?
Seems like I heard Dr. Boz say we should eat as much protein in mg as we want our weight to be. We might be 200+ pounds, so if we want to be 130 lbs, eat 130 mg of protein.
My #1 tip to kill food cravings. BROTH! A Hot cup of 100% real beef, chicken, turkey broth that you make yourself. Don't throw it out! Nutrition Facts are modest 0 to 40+- for calories depending on which one you like.
I appreciate the info and plan to implement much. I do have concerns, though. Carnivores have a mandible that moves only up and down, long ripping teeth, and short intestinal tract with strong digestive juices from the mouth and on through to the other end. They barely chew the meat they eat..
they are designed for quick transport of food from ingestion to elimination without digestive distress. Herbivores have square, grinding teeth and mandibles that move side to side for chewing, grinding. They have long digestive tracts. They do not eat meat…like horses, cows..
Humans are not biologically carnivores. They are omnivores…like many animals…bears, raccoons, pigs. Designed to eat both meat and nuts, vegetables or fruit. So much meat… seems extreme . Honestly, if I could, I'd never eat dead animals for I love animals . How many more animals would have to die if close to 9 billion people ate this way,! Not sustainable. But I struggle with hypoglycemia and what you say makes some sense. For me, more eggs, fish, some turkey and chicken. I'm keeping many veggies and do love krauts. Lambs, beef ? I could cry at the thought. 😢 No way!
A person's blood type matters too as to how much meat they need or do well with…type A, is a no. Type O…do well on more meat. I'm type O wishing I was type A😂
This is a person raised vegetarian seeking a way to compromise 😊 if it'll help with the insulin.
