What if I don’t have 30 pounds to loose I prefer my weight just have gotten a stomach now that I’m getting older. Haven’t really gained any weight
He’s 1000% right. I’m 41, and at almost 210 pounds, I was carrying way too much weight for my height. I started doing jiu-jitsu to help my daughter, and about six months into it, I added full-body workouts twice a week—Thursdays and Sundays.
I’ve kept that routine going for close to two years now. Every 12 weeks, I change the exercises, but the foundation stays the same: two full-body workouts a week, plus jiu-jitsu three to four days a week, sweating on the mats for about an hour.
I also switched to two meals a day—lunch and dinner—cut back on snacking, and drank plenty of water with electrolytes. Quarter after quarter, I could see my body composition changing.
My biggest mistake was not getting enough protein. I was eating less and dropping weight, but I wasn’t hitting my macros. Protein shakes were the piece I’d been missing.
What he’s saying lines up with my experience. You don’t have to live in the gym. Find a routine you can stick with, get your nutrition right, and give it time. Consistency makes all the difference.
What i do is at least 30 to 40 mins per session of strength training just home work out. I do once to two times a day and never did miss a day not exercising or just walk/stationary walk or do zumba if im not in mood to do resistance training. I lost 21.2 kgs in just 3 months and 3 weeks but now im focus in building muscle, during that period my diet is low carbs to zero carbs to switch back again to low carbs. My equipment includes parallel bar, abs roller and dumbbell (13.8kgs).

How do you fast and not have your workout go down the tube. I can only go to the gym first thing in the morning
Simple and to the point.
Most people can never get over the first wave of fasting because they find it too hard. Consistent fasting gets easier no doubt about it. In fact, it will get so easy it will become a regular norm in your life. Push through the beginners wave of fasting and unlock a power you didnt even know you had.
Bro how do you get 9 hrs of sleep? 😂
Foods is easy ground beef, ground chicken, ground turkey, shaved beef slices, eggs, shaved lamb slices salmon, branzino, mussel meat, tuna packets, sardines, greek yogurt, microwave rice oacks, canned beans, canned potatoes, seltzer water, culture pop soda, frozen veggies mixes, low glycemic fruits, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, black coffee. I dont meal prep because 90% of the meals can be made in 10 minutes or less
Well said! I'm on it!
