About the video:
If you’ve been trying to get from 15% body fat to 10% body fat, you’ve probably realized by now that it’s a lot more challenging than it seems. The approach that worked to get your body down to 15% body fat from 20-30% body fat may no longer be effective.

The truth is, your approach when it comes to fat loss has to be optimized to, and in this video, you’ll learn what to do to reach that next level.

These shifts are based on personal experience as I’ve been between 10-12% body fat over six years now and also having mentored with hundreds of others to reach this goal.

  1. Good video.
I’m 11,4% from my DEXA. It’s in part genetics but what Mario says about no diet confusion is correct. For me, I had to just eat the same thing every day (my dinner of lean protein & fibrous vegetable would change but essentially the same). I eat rice – pre make and into specific sized containers, pull out two and have them upfront in the fridge. I eat bananas- I’d have a plate where I’d put my two bananas in plain view (the rest in the pantry), skim milk, I have a jug with cup measurement lines on it. Fill it each night, I only drink from the jug the next day. To add necessary fat, a 1/4 cup of shelled pistachios in a small bowl next to the bananas. Bag of whey next to it.
Night before, I take out the chicken or lean steak or shrimp and put in fridge next to the vegetable I’ll eat. Takes me a few mins night before, whole day is planned, no thinking. Highly recommend using this type of simplified method.

  2. I'm staying at 15% bf with 20 000k steps per day and 2500 kcals for 175cm tall and 69 kg. I don't know how to decrease a little bit more my body fat. Maybe add some days with a lower number of calories ?

  3. Going from 22-15 is ten times easier than going from 15-10. The problem is that if you want to have stable results you need to change the way you eat. There is no room for error. You don’t eat the right things you are going to bounce back to 15. Eating less is not going to help because at this level your body will force you to eat of you didn’t get the right nutrients. You really need to give up on the idea that food can be tasty. You need to treat eating like it is something you have to do, not something that gives you pleasure. It is as hard as quitting smoking.

  4. These are really just tips to deal with the difficulty of it all. The real answer is what we always have known, CICO. If you're in a caloric deficit, you will lose body fat, that's really all there is to it. Just make sure to keep that TDEE updated as the pounds drop.

  5. I am currently at around 13% body fat, trying to get to 14-15% at the end of my Lean Bulk. After that I’ll do a mini cut and get down to around 10-12%. So it’s basically getting from lean to very lean, your video is very useful.

  6. please only talk about the title topic. you seemed too broad; you even mentioned a scenario of “losing 30 lbs” which would mean someone is 600 lbs (losing 5% mass) which is not useful for most of viewers

  7. I wish you would do a vid(s) for those of us that want to get to 15%. For the average working bloke, getting to, but especially maintaining, 10% is not a realistic life style goal. 15% with a workout and diet regimen is absolutely a physique that millions dream of achieving. Thanks!

  8. Geez I went from 180 Lbs to 160 Lbs (I'm 5'11" so assuming I'm roughly at 17% bf) relatively easy. But getting below 15% has been REALLY tough. I've gained strength/muscle but stopped leaning and got stuck at once I hit those 160 lbs over a month ago.
This video is helpful, and yes my downfall is definitely the diet. I do not plan it at all. I take relative care of what I eat, but not seriously. Don't want 10% bf though and I'd be perfectly happy at 14%.
    44 years old BTW.

  9. Thanks for the tips. At 15% now and been dieting on 2200 and 2000 on off days but kind of just waking up and winging everything. Time to make every day specific meal plans.. and get more daily exercise.
