  1. Dr Sims was a game changer for “me”! I’m looking to live a healthy life, and to really try to do the work for it, and for it to be my lifestyle healthy journey, *unlike many nurses I’ve worked and work with over the years that know better (right?) yet choose Ozempic (or similar, *some even surgery) to be slim, but cheat every day; processed food, sweets, pops (soda) etc. “That” is setting yourself up, like many out there are (including few in my family and friends circle) to try to cheat the system, it can’t be good for you! I love the advice Dr Sims has to offer that is backed up by science and by her own experience and journey, *a beautiful person to share the information , but a choice to live it. I hope many women decide to make it their lifestyle, because it works! I’m over 60 and I have a new approach to eating, sleeping, exercising, and a few organic and third party tested tools to use to make it a lifestyle that gives me a healthy body so I can ultimately live the other half of my life (that I’ve worked so hard for) beautifully. To be present for the ones I love with energy and vitality is earned and simply achievable if you listen and make the change. I don’t want to feel exhausted anymore, nor like I have one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel! At this age (hopefully wisdom sets in) you’ve had enough, it’s time to just do it! Trust me, as you start the little changes daily, you just want more! You start to see changes, feeling good again on the inside and looking good on the outside. Life is good and I’m worth it after all the years of raising children, working full time, etc. Happy to be part of “this” healthy journey, and learning daily to be and to make better choices. It’s not a rocket science, it’s starting simple, a choice to feeling GREAT really.

  2. I just got an ah-ha moment. I’ve always heard of eating well and exercising as a lifestyle, but what just occurred to me is that since no one really teaches how to be healthy anymore, we’re finally being taught how to take care of ourselves because what we grew up learning about health was all the wrong information… wow

  3. I wanted to like the video but these doctors keep saying GLP1s. Nope! The risk is not worth it. I'd strength train, eat better and rest well. I am not diabetic I will not take a diabetic medication same with not taking insulin.

  4. I want to have my health. I have MS and I am 55. I am trying to lift weights 3 times a week. I workout with Lifting with Cee. I am so tired and still work full time. But I know it if I don’t do this I will be disabled sooner rather that later!

  5. I am 59 years old. Started intermitting fasting five and a half month ago. Nearly cured my depression. Sleeping through the night now. Joint pain is 80% better. I only need painkillers in absolute emergency. And that is waking up at night with pain so severe i can't sleep anymore. Which is rare these days.
Not to mention the menopause stress I had the last years. I don't need glp1 when I can do intermitting fasting. Sorry but for me there is no reason to take that drug when I can produce the right stuff in my body by myself! The problems you have with eating are still there if you lost the weight. And I'm utterly astonished that nobody seems to talk about that fact!
You can't OutRun your diet? Well you can't outperform your psychological hygiene either by taking glp one!
Lost 20 kg on the way. And now I know how it works and I can do the rest as well.

  6. Thank you Dr Stacy Sims for pointing out alcohol. If someone wants to lose weight first ditch the booze. Especially if you are in menopause or pre-menopause. A lot of women think if they drink only vodka or dry wine they are going to be fine. ( Check any Keto group online.. ) But it's not the calories in, calories out. Alcohol raises the cortisol, which makes losing weight harder. And in the long run can mess with your thyroid. And Alcohol also makes you snack, and often crave sweets.

  7. Love Stacey, I have followed her, and strength training has helped so much. Meanwhile, I have friends on Ozempic, and quite frankly, it scares me. They are getting this with no appropriate supporting advice. What these other ladies are not recognizing is that some people prescribing this aren't as thorough about a holistic approach! There is no diet as they aren't hungry anymore, there is no training as they don't see the need because they are losing weight and they are becoming frail. The good habits aren't getting installed

  8. I’m living on your videos lately though I am only using dumbbells at the moment. I am walking, and doing yoga to make sure I am moving! I am so out of shape from sitting around. At 65 I am really inspired by all the info that you are sharing with us. It has really made a difference for me. I am plant based and am concerned about how to hit my protein levels for each day. If you could help me with that, I would really appreciate it. I am using Momentous protein and creatine.

  9. I need to know how my husband can get rid of his visceral fat he already has diabetes too, which it’s like a vicious cycle. Can you please help! He does the treadmill five days a week for like 45 minutes to an hour. He lifts a weights but maybe not enough??? he doesn’t eat a lot of sugar either or pasta and bread but he does have big portion sizes I think.

  10. Do the math. 80/20 is 1 "cheat" day per week and a few other random days. 20% of a year is 73 days = 52 Saturdays, 3 weeks worth of other days. Don't let your cheat day be the worst foods, just a day to eat with friends without fussing over calories or carbs.

  11. I am so disciplined and willing to put in the work but every time I start working out I get violently sick. Like it takes days and sometimes weeks to recover? Does anyone have any advice? I am so desperate to lose weight and just feel stuck 😭
