Why I didn’t find this video before!!!!!
So, so, so unfair that health system haven’t and don’t pay attention to this very important subject…why we women have to be 2nd, 3rd place in all areas!!!
❤
I’m so thankful for my gynecologist. He had helped me with HRT and it has changed me. I was feeling horrible, frozen shoulder and my body was aching. I was having hot flashes throughout the whole night and was exhausted all the time. Thank you Mel for helping so many people.
I don’t understand why you say that we weren’t created to live long. That just doesn’t make sense… There has to be a natural way, God‘s way to healthy life after you can make babies!
I’m new to watching you Mel and I’m literally addicted! I’ve told everyone about you. I feel like you are speaking about so many things I can relate to. We are Besties😂
You need to invite Dr. Daniel Valencia from Plano, Texas. I was going through all that and more but on June of 2026 I started drinking “Valencia Juices” all natural that helps with hormones. I’m back to normal. I don’t have a uterus but I do have my ovaries…no one talks about this type of menopause.
For the first time – after watching many videos of yours- I really felt mel is interrupting and talking a lot. It's annoying. Let the guest speak and then you can ask your queries or resonate or revise. I really tried hard not to comment and adjust.
We can talk about this alllll day long but until insurance starts covering it, we will continue to suffer. 😢
I didn't use HRT because I believed the cancer scare. I now how severe osteoporosis of the spine because some idiot misinterpreted the original report however I am now taking HRT at the age of 64 – I've only been on it for 7 days I had my last period at the age of 50 – 14 yrs I have suffered unnecessarily so with that said these past 7 days of taking HRT ( The gel in the morning and one tablet at night) I feel absolutely elated. Unfortunately I can't do anything about the osteoporosis hopefully I can stop its progression. I feel like I have been given a second chance at life – go for it ladies trust me you won't regret it. Thank you to everyone involved in the making of this Podcast- Excellent work Ladies 🙏✨️❤️🇬🇧💃🥂🍾🥳
How was our grandmothers so fit back then when there was no HRT? My 90 years old grandmother used to make pickles at that age.
Ok… I’m changing my food choices and lifestyle but it’s my understanding that my grandma developed cancer from her hormone replacement medications and it took her fast… so my mom and I have always been completely against it 😰
Thank you for covering this topic, after I year of being in a very dark place, I realised that my HRT medication was not working, fortunately I am on new medication and every symptom has gone. I had every single symptom that you have mentioned the one thing that you have not mentioned is hormone depression which I never realised that I had this and that women in this age can be more prone to take their own lives because they cannot cope with severe symptoms. After feeling like I have been in a prison of dark despair, I can finally try and live my life a little with the correct HRT and the help & support of my GP.
I got a patch. 2 weeks later I had a major stroke. I was 46
Very informative podcast. I just wish the interviewer would allow the guest to fully explain their thoughts without interrupting so often.
I'm with Mel. A 1/3 of our lives like this? 🥴
I am 81 yrs old, l have had horrible pain my bottom all my life.
Wow! I loved this video, thank you so much. You are a wealth of knowledge and this was so amazing! I’m looking for your book as soon as I’m done typing this and looking for the recommendations for the society. Thank you!
"It ain't comin back" 😂👏
OMG I had a left frozen shoulder in 2016 and then my right in 2025. started menopause in 2014. Getting stiffer and stiffer
I actually laughed in disbelief at how similar my symptoms are from EVERYTHING she is saying
So what do I do?! I just want a solution not all the info
amazing episode. Ty soo much
I am really struggling. My perimenopause symptoms began at 40… shortly after I went through the darkest times in my life, and then began to have issues with joints and my chronic back pain progressed and over time my periods began becoming irregular, found out I had a polyp, did hormone testing and discovered my ovaries were in the dumpster. So here we are 5 years later, i don't have a period for 7 months, decide to try to give HRT a shot to help with irritability and brain fog and joint pain and sleep disruption and hot flashes. And two weeks in, I feel way worse mentally and emotionally and have had a lot of bleeding going on and I just want to quit. I'd rather deal with all the symptoms of menopause than feel depleted emotionally and mentally. I'd rather just start an exercise/diet/vitamin regimen without the HRT and see how things go. But I have nobody to talk to about this. I don't know where to start and financially can't afford going all organic and etc. With everything there is a sacrifice… a battle and I just don't know what to do or where to turn. I wish I could find a doctor to help me.
So impressive! Life-changing information!
Oh and not to mention all the weight gain! I can go on and on with all the symptoms!! Thank you so much for this I’m getting the book too!
Omg this is so helpful I was wondering why I had 3 UTI last year I’m glad I’m starting taking HRT’s not to mention all the symptoms I thought my shoulder got hurt from pulling a box at work!! ❤❤
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for this video of incredibly invaluable information!!! It’s everything I wish my younger self knew much, much earlier!!! I’ve had my own experiences with most everything mentioned here, and some. I have been failed by the medical system to find answers and ventured on my own path to healing and, I’m sooo proud to say… I’m just coming out the other side!!! Not being listened to, and being told my symptoms were ‘all in my head’ by the one person I had to turn to for answers and help (my doctor – although i was crushed, I also realised their lack of knowledge and available information restricted their ability to help me)… these were the jumping points for me to fight for myself and the health I felt I deserved!!! I hope this information is a starting point for anyone who experiences anything similar to myself to fight for themselves and find their own answers!!! But, more than that, I hope that sharing this information with all women starts conversations and support networks so that no one ever feels as alone as I did!!! I’ll be sharing this with all the women in my life because… knowledge is power!!! Thank you sooo much!!! 🙏🏻👏🏻❤️
During a doctor visit, I detailed a severe and distressing combination of symptoms, including:Persistent shoulder pain,Frequent headaches,Severe abdominal distension (making me appear approximately eight months pregnant), despite having a hysterectomy ten years ago. When I asked for medical guidance,My Doctor told me to search online for my own help. This response left me without medical support, and my symptoms are causing me severe distress to the point that I don’t want to leave my home. I don’t know what to do anymore 😭😭
What happens though when you have PCOS and menopause. Where is the conversation on that.
Since I started taking HRT my life changed. When I went through menopause I had terrible migraines and wish I had started earlier. I'm 72 and will take menopause until …
That is ALL ALL ALL ME!!!! I definitely need help!! But i rarely had periods and when i did they were horrible, no tracking 😢
Now tell us city by KC Mo who we’re supposed to go to.
I’m 49 and went to my GI with all the symptoms. I specifically requested HRT, but instead of listening to me and discussing my options, she kept changing the subject and refused to prescribe it.
When a woman is struggling with menopause symptoms and asking for help, what are we supposed to do when our doctors won’t listen?
I’m tired of feeling sick and being dismissed. I just want a doctor who will actually listen, explain my options, and help me feel better.
The hormonal acne, bloating lack of sleep and itchiness started affecting me years after starting HRT. OMG! The joint pain is unreal! I so feel unlike myself at 57. I had all this begin after breakthrough bleeding in 2025 and my dr. Decreased my estrogen patch for a year but for the past 9 months I’ve been on the 0.05 mg patch. The entire video hit home. Thank you for covering this.
Mel can I suggest Dr. Jason Fung? He's amazing. I think you could have an interesting conversation with him
Yes I am having a lot of them
I am I'm going through menopause
Please talk about gut, INFLAMATORY. Hashimoto , Glúten, Sibo. Very Important .
https://youtube.com/@drhelenmarlowe?si=SGmhPQl8mlFBv_pd
Please interview this doctor too..
My bad cholesterol has been a little high since I was 40yo but I decided I wouldn’t be taking statins. My cholesterol is about the same at 60yo. My NP knows I won’t medicate and advised me to take DHEA 5MG and add more fiber and I’m doing that.
