The BEST Meal Plan to Lose Fat Faster (EAT THIS WAY!)

If nutrition keeps tripping you up… if you feel like you can train hard but can’t stay consistent with your diet… then this is the video you need to watch.

Because the truth is — you haven’t failed your diet.

Your diet has failed you.

Get the Flex Factor Meal Plan –

And I’m going to show you exactly why.

In this video, I’m breaking down one of the biggest lies in fitness — the idea that you need to follow a rigid, perfect, all-or-nothing meal plan to get lean, build muscle, and stay that way. That’s exactly why most people never make it. They fall off before they ever give themselves a real chance to succeed.

Here’s the reality:
Almost 80% of your ability to stick to a nutrition plan comes down to what happens in the FIRST 10 DAYS.

And most people never even make it there.

Why?
Because they think they have to be perfect. Perfect food choices.Perfect timing.Perfect portions. And the moment something doesn’t go exactly as planned… they quit. That’s the mistake.

Because when you actually understand how nutrition works — and how flexible it really is — everything changes.

In this video, I show you:
• Why nutrition—not training—is the biggest driver of fat loss
• How to set your protein intake correctly based on your goal (fat loss, muscle gain, or maintenance)
• Why most diet plans fail due to perceived rigidity—not actual requirements
• How to use a simple plate division method to build meals that work anywhere, anytime
• Why swapping foods like rice, pasta, potatoes, or vegetables doesn’t matter nearly as much as you think
• How to adjust portion sizes to account for calorie differences in protein sources like chicken, steak, and salmon
• Why fibrous carbs are almost calorically irrelevant—and stressing over them is killing your consistency
• How to structure your eating around your real life schedule (not someone else’s unrealistic plan)
• The truth about intermittent fasting, meal timing, and eating frequency
• And most importantly… how to create a plan you can actually stick to long enough to make it automatic.

Because that’s the goal.

Not perfection.
Consistency.
Once you understand this, you stop starting over.

You stop “falling off.” You stop thinking you need a new diet every 2 weeks.
And you finally build something that lasts.

I’ve done this for over 17 years — not just for myself, but for elite athletes, actors, and everyday people who needed real, sustainable results.

And the ones who succeed?
They’re not the most disciplined.
They’re the ones who stop chasing perfection… and start building consistency.

If you can get through the first 10 days — you’re closer than you think. Most people quit on the 1-yard line. Don’t be one of them. If you’re ready to stop overcomplicating your nutrition and finally take control of it, this video will show you how.

And if you want a system that adapts to YOU — your schedule, your preferences, your goals — I built something called the Flex Factor Meal Plan to do exactly that.

But even if you never use it…
Everything you need to succeed is already in this video.
Watch it.

Apply it. And give yourself the chance to finally get this right.

  2. im 5foot6 and was 280 at my 30's , I've lost 140 pounds in 11 months of diet+workout. I still remember I was feeling like a feather, a little piece of 🥩🥩 ….. but now in 2026 im 41, I gained back 100 pounds, I just started all over, for another weight loss journey!

  3. I used to be skinny growing up. When i started the gym, my college friend (who was built) said i just needed to eat everything, it didnt matter cause my body just absorbs it all. Worst advice ever, spent most of my adulthood unhealthy thinking i was a good shape eating junk cause it didnt affect my metabolism 🙄

  4. Absolutely agree with best way of eating and working out. When they lock you in so tightly it's so easy just to walk away from it. Like myself I get up early but I also have to work late. So finding what works best within your daily life schedule is the better choice than somebody's telling you but you must be doing it this way or it won't work.

  5. How would someone portion food if they had previously had bariatric surgery, and was taking a glp-1 inhibitor. I can get in the protein, but having a hard time wanting, or having the space for the other two catagories. If i was trying to get all that food in, I would have to eat all day long. Are the fiberous carbs mostly a filler to bulk meals so you feel full?

  6. Can someone answer this ?…. If I’m in a calorie deficit of 500-600 but still maintain my protein intake high … does that mean I gain muscle but lose weight if I do 1hr of muscle work out each day ? I ask thsi because maybe people say you can lose weight and gain muscle at the same time.

  7. This is a great video, great explanation and great advice but the only problem is the price to eat healthy now is the most expensive it’s ever been . I can’t believe there are two types of foods sold at the grocery store “ organic and non organic “ doesn’t matter if it’s beef , chicken , fruits and vegetables. Obviously organic is way more expensive.

  8. That's not the way you drew it out yesterday. You had the protein in the lower space and what time of the day are we talking about ? Do we start out our day with protein or with fibers and carbs ?

  9. Thank you for making this video!

Max Shred was the first of Jeff’s programs that I completed about eight years ago.
For fun fact, I went from 176 pounds to my leanest at 135 using his programs. (Not in 3 months lol) I continued using his programs after Max shred.

I got a lot stronger and lost body fat.

After changing jobs and moving out of state, I’ve gotten out of the habit of exercise and eating well, so I’m sitting at 165 right now so I started the program again. I’m in week 5 right now.

I’ve been struggling with the mindset around failure or consistency and is a great reminder and really encouraging to have videos like this pop-up.

  10. I love to see you still killin it. I remember your workout vids back in 2018. Still do a handful of your workouts and routines. Love the info on diet too. Its common sense to peoples schedules and dont limit yourself to a point where youre going to fail.

  11. Jesus is coming soon: and so please make sure you are preparing your soul for eternity if you haven't started already.

    Jesus Said:
    Revelation 22:12-14
    King James Version

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

  13. simple answer. almost no one can out train a high calorie diet. daily goal – drink gallon of water, 10 servings of veggies and fruits, 200 grams protein from grilled meats and lean protein shakes. after consuming that you won't have SPACE in your stomach to eat junk. the hard part is execution/discipline.

  14. What helped me was looking at Asian, Italian and Mexican food. A lot of dishes in the 3 do hit that 3 way split in terms of protein, fibrous and starchy carbs. You just need to do things like cut down on the noodles, rice and tortillas or taco shells in favor of more veg and meat. Also we tend to not realize how many fish dishes the 3 have. Because where so use to sticking with the basics things like Italian balsamic-glazed salmon, Mexican fish stew and Chinese steamed fish don't make it onto the menu at most places. So when cooking at home you can always stick with the fish used for the dish or sub it for salmon.

  15. I've learned the lesson that exercise doesn't matter when losing fat firsthand. For like a year I went at it hard trying to exercitthe fat away and only made incremental progress. Then I had surgery and was on a strict meal plan and couldn't do any exercise for a YEAR! And I already lost 60 pounds by the halfway mark, just sitting on the couch.
Fix your eating habits people. I was forced to, but it really helped with everything. And he's absolutely right, no diet is a rigid as you think it is.

  16. If you want to get strong legs, glutes, back, chest etc you need to lift heavy weights twice or even thrice a week and you need to eat healthy but also eat in a calorie surplus

  17. I needed to hear this. I've been doing the best I've ever done with my nutrition but I get so hung up on following my meal plans to a T. The difference between bok choy and broccoli calories really hit home. As someone who has struggled with eating disorders this was really nice to hear. Focus on good foods, don't get hyperfocused on weighing foods. I feel like I'll never look at my plates of food again after the 9:9:20 plate drawing. Thank you!
