  1. 175 lb and 175g Protein? Please do not mess up your measures. There is a damn good reason for SI Uinits. 1kg of weight with 1g of protein is hard to achieve. 1g of protein for 1 lb is not possible to eat in my opinion

  2. what is also important to consider, the 1.6g/kg refers to your lean body weight. if you have, say 30% body fat, there is no benefit to include this in your calculation. unfortunately this important detail is almost alway left out in this discussion.

  3. I have actn3 genes. I'm 305 pound and 105 of those are over weightness. I have 107 pounds of muscle…same as an optimally trained human that didn't go away…I bench 225 after like 10 years out of the gym. But the fat gets in the way. So apperently according to AI to be 200 pound I need 160 to 200…so I'm at a loss. Gotta make chicken and ground beef try to taste better. Replace cream with Greek yogurt etc. less carbs more meat… .7 that might be doable…maybe point 8 for me. What I'm doing is not working.

  4. Leaving a comment for the algorithm and to say thanks for the video. I'm just starting out on a diet and this has made has made the entire thing seem more reasonable and sustainable. It fits exactly what I'm going for and solves one of the main concerns I have/problems that tanked my previous attempts. Cheers!

  5. Im on insulin blockers because of my poor college life choices and genes, which do kill my appetite as a side effect so the doctor recommended I switch to high protein salad so I do not lose muscle mass in the meantime.

  6. 7. Completely disagree that there is diminishing returns after .73. There are many more peer reviewed studies on thousands of individuals that body build or generally workout that correlate that adding more protein is just more better in short words. The inflection point lies around 1.3 where you benefit less but even they you still do benefit a good bit

  8. Do you calculate for the goal weight or current weight.

Because for my current weight, at 1,6 g per kg, i still end up with an impossible 183 g of protein a day.

  9. honestly i'd rather eat normally. (in our country it's usually meat + rice)
eat really salty snacks when I want to nibble. (pop corn, chips, etc.)
and supplement with cheap whey powder.

It's easier for my mental health.

  10. Hey great video , can we have next How to eat high protein without ruining our digestive system ? because i have been getting my goals pretty well , but my digestion is really horrible , and before i started cutting eveyrthing was quite good . Any thoughts on the matter ?

  11. Avoid EVOOs that come in a plastic bottle. You want EVOO in a dark GLASS bottle. With a harvest date stamped on it. Single source. No blends from multiple countries allowed.

  12. I naturally do most of this. I'll just protein prep and do the same for the veggie or carb source so that when I want to cook, it's simple to throw in the pan or heat up. Can cut, season, and prepare the batches different. Thin sliced chicken breast cutlet style or fajitas, or katsu. Whatever…

  13. My husband and I are in our 70s and we've been told to eat high protein/high fiber diet. I put beans and mushrooms (or mushroom powder) in almost everything. I make a lot of noodle bowls, assorted burrito/taco styles and lots of stews and vary the protein and spices. I use cottage cheese in soups. My husband didn't like the idea but he is eating and says he is enjoying. Love listening to ideas so I can increase variety.

  14. Hi I'm a new subscriber. I stumbled upon your channel by searching for high protein. Anyways I love the title and I love the idea of saving money while still eating protein. However, I do have a question or two for you. Does this pertain to people who are diabetic and are in insulin resistance? Does this pertain to persons who are on glp-1's like mounjaro? Because I'm all the above and I also need to lose weight so I'm wondering can I still have a bun on my hamburger and not raise my blood sugar can I still have a wrap and not raise my blood sugar so far I have found it not to be true because even though I have increased my protein I have found that some things raised my blood sugar higher than others and so what I found is I have to eat zero carb low carb tortillas the keto bread etcetera so but if I could go back to eating regular foods that would save me a lot of money. So can you tell me how?
