You and I are going to drink a lot of coffee together. Like, borderline dangerous amounts of coffee.

So, first things first. Pour yourself a mug and I’ll introduce myself real quick.

My name’s Jordan — but everyone calls me “J” — and I’m a 27th degree black belt in chugging coffee.

I’m also strength & nutrition coach, I hold several powerlifting world records, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have my writing featured in a variety of outlets like CNN, the Huffington Post, and Schwarzenegger.com.

But listen.

This channel isn’t for fame, publicity, cash, props, fist bumps, likes, pings, pows or whatever else there is.

It’s a place where you and I can chat.

I’ll never sugar coat, lie, or beat around the bush. I’ll tell you everything exactly as I see it. Some stuff you might like. Others you might not.

And that’s totally cool.

Either way, my goal here is to create a discussion. A place where you and I can get together, exchange ideas, and motivate each other to be better every day.

Like I said, we’re gonna drink a lot of coffee together — borderline dangerous amounts — but I’m excited. Because there aren’t too many online communities in which the sole purpose is to inspire and motivate one another.

And that’s exactly what you and I are going to do here.

To your success,

-J

  1. The kind of content and information you are working your butt off to share is astonishing. I hope people can appreciate it for what it is. I know I do. I have been following you for years and with your willingness to share, I have lost 55lb, significantly improved my relationship around food, and have gotten more confident working out consistently again. You’re changing lives, please keep following your calling in this life.

  2. 1:40 if you record your dose in insulin units nobody actually knows how much you're taking because the active ingredient is measured in milligrams and the concentration your pharmacist goes with can vary

  3. You say units….how does that covert to mg? Units vary depending on the strength or dilution factor. Units, to me, is meaningless. Sorry. Your experience seems to be the same as mine. Thanks for your video

  4. Took in secret for 6 months, finally told only my husband. He wanted to go on it too. Food noise gone, alcohol desire, gone. Losing about a pound a week and very happy. I have not shared with anyone else though. It’s no one’s business.

  5. I have been lifting and eating healthy. My body fat is 27% but I want to get it down to 23-25%. I’ve tried every diets just like you but I know I’m overeating, and eat out on the weekend. I track my calories and the food noise cause me ever eating. I eat good for the week days until the weekends come, it’s all catch up. I mean if I eat at 1.5-1.7k on a weekdays. The weekend would be 2,000-2,500! I’m a 5’1 girl. I can’t never lose a pound but I don’t gain a pound either. I decided to get GLP-1 a try, it did nothing until my 3 dose in I started to feel that the food noise is gone!!! I used to drink a bottle of wine with my husband on the weekend, now the desire of drinking is down to 1 glass a week. I don’t crave for it. I make sure my protein hit to the goal every day and lifting 3 times a week, boxing 1-2x a week, and walking 10k steps a day. I’m already living a healthy lifestyle, but i cant lose the last 15lbs of fats. Now i’m on week 4 and have lost about 1.5 lbs. small weight loss is a win for me, i don’t want to lose my muscles.

  6. I admire people who can update their thinking and arent afraid to say when necessary that some of their previously expressed opinions might be wrong. Its a mark of quality thinking. That tells me I need to check out more of your work.

  7. Yes you can do all this because your hormones are working correctly. When 99% of people with obesity cannot maintain a weight loss for 5 years, you can’t claim all of them just have no willpower. When the contestants of the biggest loser have permanently disregulated their metabolisms it proves that we really don’t understand fat metabolism. Obesity is a metabolic disease. What works for you will NOT work for someone who has divergent genetics and a different metabolism. It might generate clicks, but these “experiments” say a lot more about your unique biology than being able to be generalized across the population. GLP medications are a gift that can finally help people dial in their hormones, because that’s what it does. It helps to regulate them.

  8. I think looking at LDL in a vacuum and saying "lower is healthier" is a mistake. Why would a healthy and lean individual like you need a weight loss drug to have healthy blood markers? Doesn't make any sense.

  9. BEEF BUTTER BACON EGGS SAVED MY LIFE LOST205 LBS REVERSED TYPE2 DIABETES A1C IS NOW 5.4 RESTORED MY EYESIGHT NO LONGER SLEEP APNEA 65YO MALE 2MAD NO FRUIT NO VEGGIES NO SNACKING NO CARBS NO SWEETS

  10. I’ve been on GLP-1 for about 4 months, sugar cravings were really getting in the way. I’ve lost 25kg naturally 4 years ago, I took on weight training very seriously but I kept having these annoying moments when I would binge eat. I’m now free binging and I’m loving it.
