  1. I have multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia and extreme nerve pain. I haven’t been able to exercise in 5 years because of how much pain I’m in. I’m 49 in menopause and I’ve gained 25kg, so without exercise I think it’s just downhill for me 😢 i’m looking into doing retatrutide peptide to try and reduce the inflammation , so I can at least try to exercise. But then I read that the peptide can cause muscle loss, which defeats the whole object. I do need to reduce my calories, I’m 5f8 and at the moment eat 2000 cal a day . For lack of a better word, I feel completely screwed

  2. I got it down now, it’s working for me .I do a calorie deficit but I’m making sure I’m eating enough protein every day.
All I’m losing right now is fat and actually the guideline for the amount of protein you should have in a day is a little bit lower .
I always make sure I don’t miss any of my workout , I’m doing weights three times a week and power walk on my rest day.

  3. I keep hearing step count. I need to increase mine. But it’s summer in Phoenix and I can’t go outside right now. And work from home 2 days per week. I need to figure this out. I only get like 3k.

  4. At 50 and fully menopausal now my main concern is gaining muscle . I used to be ruled by the scale and now I only weigh myself once a month. The only cardio I do is when I’m lifting very heavy squats or walking . With doing all of that I noticed my belly pouch go down . It’s so freeing not chasing a number in the scale now ! ❤

  5. I’m 43 now!!! Being in peri menopause I no longer fast. Strength training and body recomp is my only goal. Not losing weight… when I gain on the scale ..I look and I can see I gained that in muscle 💪🏾 . GAINS 🙌🏾

  6. Very good info to keep in mind. I think my body recomp is going good. I've ditched my smartwatch during weight training sessions and focus on reps or train to failure. I also had to eat more calories to sustain energy for weight training then I noticed more lean showing up on my body. Keep more tip vids coming Michelle 🎉🎉🎉!
